Answer:	I am now on my 4th 16 oz. Contigo travel mug and the last 3 , the seals were the problem as they start to leak and then the seals came out. I just ordered the 3rd one in June 2020 and the seal just fell out yesterday in October 2020. If this one does the same thing, I will not buy another one of these Contigo travel mugs.

Answer:	the key to keeping the Contigo hotter longer is all boiling water in the cup with lid on for about 15 minutes, it will keep your drink hot for 8 plus hours and warm for 2 to 4 more. that's my experience with it, i got two.

Question:	Can you shake a drink with a closed lid, without spilling
Answer:	I received the 20 oz tumbler with magslider lid for Christmas. It is NOT leak proof. If it turns over or is tilted in your purse or bag, it will and does leak! I just called YETI (01/02/2018) in Austin, Texas and asked about this and they confirmed it is not leak proof. If you need something leak proof, they said to get a YETI with the scree on lid! The magslider is not a good product if you need something that does not leak.
Question:	what i want to know is does it truley hold 20 ounces? The ozark trail claims 20 ounces but only holds 16(18 ounces if filled to rim
Answer:	Mine holds 18oz with the lid on. You could put 20oz into it without the lid on and it would be right to the rim; but, good luck moving it to drink.

Answer:	Yeti maintains a lot of control over retail pricing. Their products are almost never on discount so if the price seems low that should be an alarm. Go to yeti.com for their list of authorized dealers or just buy directly through Yeti. That's the only way you can be completely sure.

Answer:	No. I ordered 3 different items from them and they look and weigh differently from an original Yeti I purchased directly from the manufacturer. Tried to save money and paid the price. Here they sell replicas that don’t keep cold as long and the clear lids are extremely hard to push down and secure.

Answer:	It’s a lot heavier than I expected and since I have an elbow injury I can’t lift it without pain in that arm. Also, the shape of the handle is square which means my fingers are in a weird position and it’s uncomfortable enough that I don’t use the handle most times. Also bc it’s so wide I have to use two hands to pick it up if not using handle. Last thing is that the lid would be better if it could close, as it is it just has a opening to drink but it doesn’t close. I didn’t realize it when I bought it and that’s definitely a downside. I use it bc I bought it and it does keep drinks hot but I don’t recommend it and wouldn’t buy it again.

Answer:	Yes, it does retain carbonation. I have had seltzer water, ice and lime slices in mine and it stayed cold, icy and bubbly for at least 2 hours. I'm sure it would've lasted longer, but I drank it by then.

Answer:	I’m concerned about it not fitting beneath the Kureg. My current Contigo mug is 7.75 and does not fit. I’m hoping to get an accurate measurement without lid on the 16oz.

Answer:	Yes, just be sure that it is locked. After a year or so, my seal sometimes leaks. Right after I pour my coffee in and twist the top on, I tip it upside down over the sink to see if it leaks. If it does, then I take off the top and put it back on again. That usually works and it stays sealed until I fill it again.
