Answer:	Funnel tip diameter: 0.5" (inches) / 12.5 mm. On a side note, the holes that dispense the liquid you pour into the funnel, on the side of the funnel tip, not at the bottom. I'm no physics whiz, but I'd look into that before connecting it to a hose, as I might end up plugging it up so to speak. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The stainless steel bottom half pulls off downwards. Small screws will be noticible to unscrew you remove to open.

The micro-perforated strainer removes impurities and sediment, while an aerating funnel oxygenates wine by flowing liquid across the inside walls of the glass.
