User questions & answers
Question: | does this backpack come with knives included |
Answer: | Hello, I don’t think that this model could extend or stretch to fit in rv seats. This is more for dining chairs( small/regular) |
Question: | Is the main part of the bag spacious or just hold the knife kit? I'm looking for a bag to consolidate a roll & misc tools plus my jacket, aprons, etc |
Answer: | My chairs did not come from Ikea, although I love Ikea. However, I can till you I love this product so much I'm already looking for a new set for fall then later on winter. They give you the measurements, so I just measured my chair. It was a very comfortable fit due to the fabric. For me on a scale from 1 to 10 I give it a 15. It looks like I purchased new furniture. |
Question: | Does it fit laptop, books, uniform |
Answer: | This cover will stretch, maybe won't look fully snugged but it covers the area. If the measurements of your chair are the same, an inch or 2 off it will work. If not return it and try a different one. |
Question: | Can you engrave a name |
Answer: | It depends of what you choose. I paid for two and get two. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you purchase a sheath or cover for this knife |
Answer: | You can certainly use the 6" Wusthof Chef's knife for meat--and even bones--but for large bones, I would suggest a knife with a larger, heftier blade. |
Question: | Since this one is set to a 10* blade, is it not recommended to sharpen using the rustic Petec electric sharpener that is set to |
Answer: | I'll do it for you. It's a perfect knife for chopping and slicing. The 6" is also small enough for peeling. If you think you're a "chef", buy a knife that's more expensive so you can show it off to your friends at dinner parties. If you're a cook, this knife is the one to get. |
Question: | Did this knife come with a sheath or protector |
Answer: | The Wusthof Classic 10" Cook's Knife is a little under 2" at its widest point. |
Question: | How do you sharpen it? Wusthof sells a sharpener for Asian-style knives. Would it be appropriate for this |
Answer: | Yes, it is double edged, if you mean, beveled on both the inside and outside of the cutting edge. This is unlike traditional Japanese knives beveled on one side of the cutting edge and flat on the opposite side. If you mean double edged like a Roman sword, then no, it is flat across the spine. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this have the red sticker on the side of the handle or is it the engraved logo as shown in the listing |
Answer: | I understand your problem but I would suggest either a longer pricing commitment (at least through the end of the month offered in Cook's) or remove the offer from Cook's web site that is redirected to Amazon. Left the way it is it appears to be a bait and switch offer. |

A Centuries Old Tradition
Family owned for seven generations, WÜSTHOF was founded in Solingen, Germany over 200 years ago. Located near the banks of the Wupper River, Solingen has been home to master blacksmiths for over 2,000 years, with the river's many creeks and spillways perfectly suited to provide power for the forging of blades through the 18th and 19th centuries. It was then, in 1814, that the WÜSTHOF tradition began. To this day, every WÜSTHOF knife is expertly crafted in the legendary 'City of Blades'.
