Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. It was more trouble than I would have liked, but it worked.

Answer:	I got fair results. Try it. Take your time. My knife has a very small recurve & I'm new to sharpening with a clamp in system since I got arthritis. I could not sharpen with this sharpener & slice paper so I got the KME with diamond stones & I'm very happy. Sold & sent all the chinese knock offs back. You can pick up a Lansky or Gatco system with diamond stones with a serrated stone about $80 almost as good as KME. Whatever you get Amazon has a pretty good return policy.

Answer:	All are wet stones. Only issue is those mounted to the retention block. I soak the bare stones but only do a quick rinse with the mounted stones. The comments for dry use are usually just when doing the quick magic marker test. The residual water tends to wash away the color.

Answer:	On one side, where the bottle opener notch is, the blade measures 3 5/8", 92mm. On the other, the bone cutting groove is sharpened and is about 1 3/8", 34mm. The rest of that blade, to the tip, is 2 1/8", 52mm. Measurements close but not perfect. Overall there is cutting edge basically from the tips to within about a half inch of the hinge bolt.

I've ordered these shears on two separate occasions (once for me, then again as a gift because I like them so much) and was not charged shipping for either one.

Answer:	I've owned Messermeister poultry shears for many years. Mine do not say Made in China, but only have the Messermeister name and trademark. Whatever packaging there was is long gone. The description here says Made in Portugal. Mine are definitely stainless steel with a polished finish, very heavy and substantial, very sharp, and work very well. The Chinese made ones are most likely knockoffs, though Messermeister no doubt would be able to confirm.

Answer:	Cutco guarantees their knives. I suppose the tip could damage if dropped point end on a tile floor. However it happened you can go to Cut co website and submit your knives for sharpening and repair. They will probably replace the knife rather than repair. Takes about 10 days to get them back.

Answer:	I'd say probably not with a normal knife block. One knife block I had in the past had a special scissors area, but I don't have it now to check. I measured the scissors with a ruler. The widest part of the metal section of the scissors is at the blue post (it sticks out the side and secures the inside post that joins the two halves.) At the blue button, the scissors measure about 1/2" across. Down along the shaft, they are a little under 1/4" wide. Good scissors, by the way. They cut salad greens sharply and come apart to wash and dry thoroughly.

Answer:	Just open them all the way as if you were to cut something really large, you will see the peg that sticks out of the blade line up with a hole. You may then proceed to pull the two blades apart. You do not need to do anything with the blue bulb or knob on the scissor.

I have had some of them for 45 years and they are as good as new. Answer:	Now I have ordered 3 of these. They all say 5558-1 on the box but two scissors did not have a notch and one did. The box on all three showed the notch. I suspect the 5559 was the older version but you don't seem to be able to choose when you order.
