Question:	Where is the knife made
Answer:	I'd strongly recommend against this set. I've had some major rust issues on several blades from the set. Also the guard is too shallow. If you enjoy your knuckles smashing into the cutting board while using the chef's knife then this set is 100% perfect! I personally want a deeper guard when cutting through whatever foods I'm trying to prepare.
Question:	Are these knives dishwasher safe
Answer:	The knife's steel is forged too brittle. This should not happen with a daily user form a good knife set. The more rigid the steel: the sharper the knife, in theory. The softer the forging process the less likely the knife to break off by daily use. However, the knife will be less sharp as a result.
