Answer:	I purchased this set October 2018. I have enjoyed it very much. The set I bought was the Multicolored which are different colors from the Jewel you are asking about. Answer:	When I use a block, I flip the knives upside down so it doesn't dull, ding, knick the blade for better protection of the blade. I have very limited counter space and our block was taking up too much room and I kept having to move it around when I was cooking & baking so I bought a magnetic strip that mounts to the wall to hold my blades but still within reach and LOVE IT!

Question:	Are these knives okay for the dishwasher? Do they rust? I have other stainless steel knives that rusted right away
Answer:	I have washed mine in the dishwasher after every use, and so far, no spots or rusting. I've now had them approximately five months. So far so good!
Question:	Where is it made,what country
Answer:	I could not find the country of origin stamped on the blade, but I am almost positive they are made in China. It says they are German steel. Unfortunately, my set is rusting after not much use. They have been well taken care of, too. Back when I first got married and just picked out a cheap knife set at random, it turned out to be better than any other I have owned except for maybe a set purchased in Germany.
