Question:	I would like to put it my camper. Is there another way to mount it with out screwing it in...it’s not wood
Answer:	I used double faced Gorilla Tape to mount one of mine. It seems to be holding just fine. I also stuck one (without the mounting plate) right on to the side of my microwave. (In case you would have something metal in your camper you could stick it on). That is working fine so far too.

Answer:	It should withstand the shaking of the motor home. Knives should stay on though likely won’t stay perfectly positioned. It’s a pretty strong magnet so knives shouldn’t fall off when closing the cabinet door unless you slam it. All just my opinion. It’s reasonably priced, so I’d give it a try. I love having my knives accessible but off the countertop.
Question:	Can you use strong command strips instead of screws
Answer:	I used command strips in a rental kitchen on a smooth tile back splash. I prepped the surface really well and made sure I got the heavy duty ones, I want to say I used 2 on each end and the combined weight they were rated for was plenty even for a heavy magnet and a handful of knives, the strips did show obviously and you can't trim them or it will affect their weight capacity and they will be nearly impossible to remove without the adhesive-free tab. The tab does need to be accessible to remove command strips so it will definitely show. When we moved I easily removed the knife magnet and command strips. I have found command strips won't be reliable on : plaster, textured surfaces or anything that feels chalky.
Question:	Has anyone used this 10 inch knife holder on the fridge? If so how did it hold up
Answer:	Yes, just remove the flat metal bar on the back and slap it on your fridge. Stays in place and doesn’t budge even holding several large knives. Easy to remove as well by dragging it to the edge of the fridge (I didn’t experience any scratching of the fridge when doing so). Perfect solution for small kitchens and apartment living.

Question:	Can this magnetize to the side of my refrigerator? With out using screws or adhesives
Answer:	Yes, it's on the side of my fridge. It's quite a strong magnet - in fact, the tang (the extension of the blade in to the handle) is pulled down by the magnet when the knife is perpendicular to the magnet with the handle up, resulting in the knife wanting to come to rest parallel with the magnet (ie horizontal and parallel with the floor as well). I'm able to put knives on the magnet in such a way that the lip of the bolster rests against the magnet and holds the knives within about 30 degrees of vertical.
Question:	Can I attach the magnetic strip to a metal surface without the screws? Will it still be able to hold the knives
Answer:	Hi, just received this yesterday and am very happy with my purchase. But just to clarify on this question which I myself was wondering about before purchasing: the bar does indeed have a powerful magnet on the reverse side, which is used to stick to a metal plate that is to be mounted into something. So it did technically stick to my fridge; but once the knives were on it the magnet was not powerful enough and would just slide down. I wound up putting one 3M velcro adhesive strip in the middle and a thin strip at each end. So between the strips and the magnets I'm pretty confident the bar isn't going anywhere now. Perhaps a fridge with a stronger metal attraction than mine would even hold more firmly on its own. (Note: if using adhesive strips directly onto the magnet, do not push TOO firmly as I put an indent into the magnet bar.)
Question:	Anybody successfully mount this on a tile backsplash? Tips
Answer:	Yes. I used gorilla heavy duty double sized mounting tape. The back splash has skinny horizontal glass tiles. Gorilla indicated it was not suitable for that but it’s working great. I have a 6 piece set of stout knives plus 4 others.
Question:	will it stick to side of refrigerator
Answer:	Yes it does stick to stainless steel fridges, including stainless steel fridges with the vinyl no fingerprints surface over the sides. It doesn't stick to all non-stainless fridges if don't have enough metal in them because magnets stick to only metal. I have two of these knife bars and they've stuck like glue to two stainless fridges I've had. They also stuck to a non-stainless fridge that had enough metal in it for it to work, but they didn't stick as well on that fridge and would slide down some. I had to straighten them frequently, but they still held the knives safely. Be *very careful* to keep the plastic strip between the bar and its mounting plate or they will snap together with such force that if your fingers are in the way they will be crushed. It will also be very difficult to pry them apart. The same warning applies to putting the bar on your fridge. Keep your fingers out of the way!

Answer:	Two sided Gorilla tape, or 3M 2 sided tape

Answer:	Hello Erin and thanks for the question. We use industry standard 3M tape. No one who sells this tape will be able to say that it will stick to every surface because there are just too many different surfaces. Other customers will only be able to answer the question if they have the exact same tiles. Therefore a well-founded and general answer is unfortunately not possible. BUT there are in principle no complaints and "normal" tiles are usually not problematic. Especially glazed tiles or natural stone can present a problem. Uneven tiles are not suitable for installation. Please clean and degrease the gluing spot sufficiently before applying and wait until it is completely dry before applying the magnetic strip. Press on the strip evenly for at least 10 seconds and wait 24 hours before loading it. Then nothing should go wrong. Answer:	I would try double back sticky tape. a good quality tape. it may last awhile. OR command hooks with the head of a screw, or similar shape.
Question:	How much weight can it hold
Answer:	The knife holder was designed and tested to hold the weight of 1 pound per square inch of the metal surface that attaches to the holder. For example, a typical 1" wide knife would have the touched area of 2 square inches (1" knife width x 2" holder width). Therefore the knife could be as heavy as 2 pounds. If you have a big 4" wide butcher knife, the holder could support the weight as much as 8 pounds (4" knife width x 2" holder width)... We tested the holders with all metal knives (metal blade and metal handle) which is the heaviest knife type. This knife holder could handle them without any problem. Hope this helps.
Question:	Anyone mount this with gorilla mounting tape? if so, how much did you use and has it worked well
Answer:	I don't recommend purchasing the model. Mine broke almost immediately, forcing me to rebuild a custom chassis for the magnets. (which I then mounted with screws. It's heavy enough with all the knives that I imagine any tape would eventually fail.
Question:	Just to confirm,will it stick to refrigerator
Answer:	No. Only the front is magnetized. So if you are imagining that you would stick the back side to the refrigerator, then hang knives etc. on the front, this will not work. If, however, you simply want a GIGANTIC bamboo magnet, sticking this "face-first" to your fridge would work quite well! (I tried this with mine, personally, and BOY is that magnet strong on the front side!!– but, as mentioned, sticking the back side to the fridge does not hold at all.)

Answer:	You can stick this to a refrigerator with mounting tape applied to the back near the edges. The back side is not magnetic. Sticking it onto a metal surface does not affect the magnetic attraction to your knives.

Answer:	The back of it is flush 1/2" around the circumference. I hung one in our RV with 3M mounting tape.

Question:	Can I hang under my cabinet
Answer:	You would have to make some modifications. The unit is designed to sit on the counter top. You could drill some holes to the base and then hang it upside down I suppose.
Question:	This comes in two pieces, I’ve screwed the screws as tight as I can to assemble, and the whole thing is incredibly wobbly. Anyone else have this issue

Answer:	Mine does not have any logos on it. Holds very knifes very well. It was able to hold both of my meat cleavers without slipping off.

Answer:	The knife block itself is 11 inches wide by 8 inches high which includes a 1 inch stand. I use both sides of the stand to store my knives.

Question:	Is there enough surface on back that would allow Velcro strip attachment to wall
Answer:	Absolutely no! The weight of the Knife Holder requires it be securely anchored to the wall surface with SCREWS!. Once knives are placed on the magnetic strip it would not be safe to use velcro. I might ask, why would you want to mount the Knife Holder without screws securely mounting it to the wall for safety? I have two mounted with screws to safely bare the weight of heavy knives. They work wonderfully and safely mounted to walls.
Question:	Is it two knife holders or a knife holder and sharpener? Confusing when you read description and reviews
Answer:	As I recall I purchased the sharpening steel and one magnetic knife holder. The steel is something I use many times a week. As I stated in my review, although I found the magnetic holder very convenient but my wife thought it was out of place in our kitchen. So while not getting to use it I found the holder to be well built. No memory about a second holder.
Question:	It says 2 pieces is it 15 inch per piece or 15 inch for both pieces combined
Answer:	Should read: 2 @ 15" each. Total length-end to end 30". Don't you wish that Sellers would give better description of their product? :-/

Answer:	Tip to tip is 15 inches. Actual magnets are 14 inches. I put 9 knives on mine from a Emeril Lagasse set.

Answer:	I have spice containers up to 4 1/2" tall. I placed my racks 4" apart (from the top of one to the bottom of the next above it) and I can easily get them in and out, if that helps. See the picture in my review for a visual.

Answer:	I didn't get any "sticky hooks" with mine. Wouldn't use them anyway. Need to screw this to wherever.

Answer:	Hi! This knife holder has a very strong magnet. You can definitely hang vertically! No slippage whatsoever. This is one product I have been very very pleased with and it is high quality
