Answer:	It's a safe bet. Amazon has been pioneering Chinese brands for years. That's become amazon's forte. If they're not facilitating Chinese companies to sell direct to US customers, they're facilitating small US home based businesses selling out of their garage or paying amazon to warehouse the exact same products, just with their own brand name screenprinted on the product. If you're trying to buy American, good luck... If you do, it'll not doubt cost a premium and there'll still be a greater than 50% chance it's mostly produced overseas, only assembled in the US.

Answer:	My opinion, yes, it's normal. I've never had a cutting board that doesn't get cut marks with use. Of course the harder you're cutting, the deeper the marks will be.

Answer:	Ok so I'm trying to figure this out as well. I found 3 very small differences between the regular 7 pack and the upgraded 7 pack. 1. In description(s) it says regular is "Anti-Skid" & upgraded says "Non-Slip". 2. The regular package dimensions says "15.07 x 11.81 x 0.63 inches" & the upgraded says "15 x 11.8 x 0.43 inches". 3. There is a U shaped groove running down each long edge on the one side...on the short sides these grooves run into larger flat bottomed indentations which should hold more juice than the long side grooves. I did an experiment filling the groove all the way around the 8. 93-in x 12. 89-in Everyday Cutting Board with a little water. It held 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon. It does easily pour out as I found when I did this test.

Answer:	Given it's thickness ( 1/2 inch) it is not flexible. As a cutting board it is soft enough to be easy on the knifes that I use. And, over time I do get small grooves in some areas of the board. Not wearing through, more of a slight texture. Quite consistent with other cutting boards of similar thickness. Easy to wash. With heavy commercial usage scrubbing and a bleach mixture are in order. Ours has been through numerous dishwasher cycles without any issues.However, it likely will not do well as a butcher block if you are using a large cleaver.

Answer:	Good question -- and one that I share. || Since the manufacturer of this Plastimade-brand item has neither posted an answer for you about this item's biodegradable status, nor added to this item's product page a close-up photo of the item's packaging that includes a statement of the item's composition that we could use to do our own research into the item's biodegradability (i.e. other than 'plastic,' which hardly inspires confidence about the item's green bona fides), I poked around here at Amazon and found that there *is* a comparable product that is allegedly biodegradable. (I haven't tried it yet, but I'm holding it in the 'Saved for Later' section of my Amazon shopping cart.) || That product, OutFormal's "Disposable Plastic Cutting Board" -- which is often sold out/"Currently Unavailable" -- states that it is both BPA-free and made from biodegradable EVA (i.e. a "copolymer of ethylene and vinyl"). || IIRC, online environmental publication _TreeHugger_ posted a feature a few years back sharing their own research conclusion that EVA is, indeed, biodegradable in landfills -- although we consumers should of course both (a) reduce our use of EVA and (b) re-use any EVA products we might buy as many times as possible before tossing them. Answer:	BBP free but the Farberware cutting boards contain Microban which is an endocrine system disrupter that it thought by the medical community to be a factor in the decline in male fertility in the USA.

Answer:	I don't know, but they are great! Perfect sizes, and very durable. Clean easily.
Question:	Do these cutting boards have rubber feet? If no, do they slide around on the counter when using it
Answer:	No rubber feet. The 2 rectangular boards are reversible so feet would get in the way. I have not had trouble with them slipping but I have occasionally placed a dish towel underneath.

Answer:	Thickness seems to have changed since this was originally answered. I ordered Feb 2018 and they measured 0.16 inch thick.
