Answer:	Thank you for your question. I use one minute per egg. If I use Vegetables , I spray the omelet maker and cook them for about a minute. Then I add the eggs milk and cheese. Answer:	Hello! That's a good question, the Microwave 4 Egg Poacher is designed to make poached eggs, specifically. An over-easy egg tastes best cooked in a frying pan on a stovetop, which would be hard to imitate using this product. I hope that helps answer your question!

Answer:	I have the 4 egg version. It is something of a trial for time, however if you manage to center the unit well, the eggs are similarity cooked. I put my 4 in for 70 seconds in 1200 watt and get 2 over easy, 2 over medium. Occasionally I add 5 seconds more.

Answer:	Yes.
Question:	Can anyone point out even ONE study showing that silicone is food safe when heated
Answer:	You have backwards. If you don't have a study that shows silicone causes harm, there is no evidence it does. Think about it: is there even ONE study that shows glass is food safe when heated? Probably not but people have been heating with it safely for decades so there's no motivation to even pilot such a study.
Question:	How do you get the soapy/perfume taste out of these things without a dishwasher? Does baking soda really clean them
Answer:	If you wipe a thin layer of oil on them before you put the eggs in, they stay pretty clean. I just dump the boiled water from the poaching process in the cups to sterilize them, then wipe them with a dish towel or paper towel. That way, they never get the soapy/perfume taste on them in the first place.
Question:	Does this cook the yolk? Similar products have given me a cooked egg yolk (like hard boiled eggs) when a poached yolk should still be runny
Answer:	I LOVE these! I spray them SLIGHTLY with PAM and then put my egg in it. I put 1" of water in my pan. When it boils (medium-high heat), I put my eggs in and cover. I put my timer on 5 minutes and walk away. When the timer goes off, I take it out and it is a PERFECT poached egg...runny yolk. When I did 6 minutes the yolk was harder. Four minutes was not quite enough. So 5 is perfect for me. I use these silicone things 3-4 times a week.

Answer:	Yes, it is stainless and it is coated as well. Personally, had it been polished and then simply have the cook put a thin coat of margarine or butter in the ladle before placing the egg, it would have been better. While non-stick, there is no way to determine if this is Teflon, or ???, and it may be made in China...which if it is, is one of the few time I have purchased products from a country where lying and harming others with dangerous chemicals is the norm. Nonetheless, this one had so many good ratings from other users, I bought it. Regardless of the coating,, it is the best egg poacher out there and I have two sets. And if I lost a set, I would buy another one. Still best to spray a spot of vegetable oil in the ladles...or butter.

Answer:	I still have my handle and use it every day!! Can't imagine why his handle broke off. I use it for flipping an egg, a pancake, and since I'm a 82 year old woman living alone, I count on this being whole every single day!!

Answer:	Very flexible. Mine was overly flexible and of poor shape. I tossed mine away. Useless.

Answer:	it's designed to poach eggs and they come out flatter than a boiled egg..if you let it cook longer than suggested it would probably be like a boiled egg..hope that helps
Question:	I lost my directions. Can someone please remind me of the instructions
Answer:	I don’t remember the directions but I spray a small amount of vegetable spray (Pam) before using. Some put a few drops of water on top of the eggs but I prefer the spray. I microwave mine for about 52 seconds and get the results I like. I also cover the device because once in a while an egg will pop, making a mess inside your microwave.

Answer:	I'm not sure--you could order it and read the package or check with a local cooking store and see if they have one and ask them. Good luck!
Question:	Is the material this product is made out of nontoxic? Sound like a dumb question? It isn't
Answer:	I can't tell if it's non-toxic, but I can tell you that the coating is not Teflon. It feels like an enamel. No matter how I oiled this egg poacher, the eggs always stuck to it. I tried "seasoning" it by oiling it and keeping it at low temperature for an hour or so. The eggs still stock. Getting them out of the pan always made a mess. I finally donated it to one of the local charitable organizations (which might not have been very charitable of me!)
Question:	What is the height of this item when it is sitting on a flat surface
Answer:	The actual pan is about 1 inch tall, and has a handle in the middle that is about a inch tall, so total 2 inches. It's meant to sit in a pan of water and the boiling water is what poaches the eggs. I even recommend spraying the pan with Pam cooking spray, makes it easier just to wipe clean. I bought 2 and one is great at the egg not sticking without Pam cooking spray, while the other the eggs would stick if I didn't use Pam cooking spray, Overall I still like them.
