Answer:	There are 3 parts to each egglette. The silicone base, a threaded ring, and a threaded screw on cap. The threaded ring is kept in place by the cap. When you receive them, you'll see how they work. But make sure you use a little oil or spray before putting your egg in it. Question:	I cooked my eggs on high for 8 min using a 1250 w microwave and they were only soft boiled!! The top does not make a snap sound. Is it defective
Answer:	My micro is 1000 w & at 8 min my eggs exploded. There was still water in the bottom well but the eggs simply exploded blowing off the lid & eggs went everywhere. The yolks that I could find intact all seemed to be fully cooked; but I also has grain sized yolk all over the inside of my micro. Haven't used it since.

Question:	Can someone give me the height of the thing with the lid on? The Nordic Ware site says the width is 8", but I suspect that is the height. Thanks
Answer:	8",is the height with the lid on, 16" is the measurement around the egg. This egg is large. If you can imagine an ostrich egg, it looks just like one. I was amazed at its size.
Question:	I lost my directions. Could someone supply them
Answer:	the directions are meaningless, I have an 1100 watt microwave and must cook the eggs for 12 minutes just to get medium boiled, haven't tried hard boiled. Do not follow the directions, experimentation is key.

Answer:	I've used it for both. The single blade does the best. The double blade keeps throwing the intended object upward away from the blades. For ice and frozen fruit you need it to keep them down in the blade to do what you need them to do.

Instructions for using the Silicone Egg Cooker

1.Assemble the silicone pods and wash them with hot water before the first use. Dry them out with a cloth or napkin before use

2.Spray or add cooking oil to the silicone pods (use the provided silicone brush).

3.Crack the egg into the pod without the shell. You can add one jumbo egg or 2 small ones. Do not over pour the silicone pod.

4.Close the tops screwing them nice and tide

5.Boil the eggs for 10-15 min in a regular kitchen pot using the egg pods holder for best results (You can check them if they are ready by taking them out and basically touch the bottom of the silicone pod.

6.Take them out, unscrew the red tops and gently squeeze the bottom of the silicone pod so you can get the egg out. (You can help yourself by using the provided silicone spoon). The eggs should come out of the pod easy with no hassle.

7.Enjoy your hard boiled eggs, egg whites, small omelets, deviled eggs, egg salads....

8.Wash the egg cooker set hard boiled with hot water or place it into the dish washer.

9.Do not use the egg maker in the microwave.
