What you may be looking for is a pipe & cable locator, which works by producing and transmitting a signal onto a utility that is metallic that the receiver can detect. A signal can be produced by a transmitter and is sent through by either conductive or inductive means. "Conductive" means a direct connect connection such as alligator clips. "Inductive" means the signal is induced onto the metallic utility line with an induction clamp which is secured around the utility line but does not connect metal to metal. Once your transmitter is connected and producing a signal on the utility, you can then take the receiver and wave it over the area you believe the utility to be in.

Answer:	They are only spacers, like putting spacers between tiles. they keep the edges from rubbing together during shipment and I suppose you could continue to use them for that purpose, only I turn the lid over when i store my pots.

Answer:	The diameter of this pan itself is approximately 12 inches across, and 2.5 inches deep. If you include the handles and the lid on top, the pan is 15.375 inches across and 4.75" inches tall.

1. Allow cookware to cool.

2. Although dishwasher safe, hand washing with warm soapy water and a nylon Scrub Brush is recommended to preserve the cookware’s original appearance. Citrus juices and citrus-based cleaners (including some dishwasher detergents) should not be used, as they can dull the exterior gloss.

3. If necessary, use nylon pads or scrapers to remove food residue; metal pads or utensils will scratch or chip porcelain.

4. Slight stains can be removed by rubbing with dampened cloth and Lodge Enamel Cleaner or other ceramic cleaner according to directions on bottle.

5. Dry cookware thoroughly before storing. Do not stack cookware.

Answer:	I bought the dutch oven and it is porcelain enameled inside. The red fryer description says exterior porcelain enamel so the answer to your question is "no".

Answer:	Cuisinart CI45-30CR Chef's Classic Enameled Cast Iron 12-Inch Chicken Fryer with Cover holds 4.25 quarts according to the manufacturer information.
Question:	can this be used for braising
Answer:	The lid on mine is smooth inside and coated just as the inside of the pot itself is. There is the edge around the point of contact with the pot itself, and a screw through the center to hold the handle (I replaced the screw on mine from as received with a stainless steel screw, it was just a better fit.)
