Answer:	you will need to put water into the empty bowl. it comes with a separate place where you can put the foods/vegetables that you want to steam.

Answer:	Most heating plates have as temperature fuse built in, if the plate got too hot for any reason, the temperature fuse would open up, and the heating plate would not work anymore. If you do not have a electrical background, or any experience with troubleshooting small appliances, then I would not try to fix the item. The manual states if the unit fails to heat to send it to an authorize repair service center. The USA toll free number to call is 800-395-8325. The warranty varies per country, so call the toll free number to see if you have a greater than 90 day warranty, and if you do, T-fal should fix it for free.
Question:	How do I make 1 cup of Jasmine rice? I put 1 cup of rice and 1.5 cups of water and let it run but the rice didn't cook all the way

Answer:	When you see it counting up, it means that it has finished the cycle and has defaulted to warming mode for that period of time. It does not automatically shut off after the cycle is complete.

For example, it doesn't make yogurt and you cannot adjust the temperature below 158.

Answer:	I love mine, the T-fal P2510737 unit. This unit is really only for pressure cooking, NOT pressure canning. The new types are so much easier than the old ones that could overpressurize. One thing that is really important, let the unit vent steam for several minutes before closing it to make sure you get a good seal. The instructions were not a clear on that but i knew to do it from pressure canning.

Question:	What do they mean by "...and turn the heat down"? how far? i know all stoves vary (me personally i have a glass top) but how far do i go with this
Answer:	Once it reaches "full" pressure (constant steam) on WHATEVER STOVE YOU ARE USING you turn the heat down (meaning to get more of what I call a "slight or soft steam") for the recommended "cooking time." It depends on the time recommended for what you are cooking... so that: A) You do not over-cook what is in the pressure cooker...meaning turn it to mush... and B) That's the way pressure cookers work! (The science of which is a steady pressure within the pot for the designated cooking "time" recommended.) It's some trial and error if you're new to pressure cooking. But you eventually get the hang (or sense) of it/how they work!

Answer:	The pressure cooker is well made from stainless steel. We've only had this one for about a year but it is used weekly. It should last a very long time. It is made in China.

Answer:	I haven't used it for canning and I bought it and gave it as a gift. Please note that the 8 quart Clipso is the same diameter as the 6 quartClipso and the 8 quart is higher. I bought both sizes and gave the 8 quart as a gift. As for canning, I guess it would depend on the size and shape of your jars and if there needs to be some space between them if you do multiples. You would need to put something at the bottom of the cooker so that the jars don't sit directly on the bottom which can get very very hot and you would risk breaking glass jars. I found an aluminium disk made by Presto that cost around 35$ so you have to add that to your overall costs. If you plan to do a lot of canning, why don't you get a pot made just for canning which would include all the instructions. They are large enough and are often sold as kits with a few jars.

Although I have the glass top stove and have not used the T-fal Wok on the coil burners, I believe it will work on them The bottom of the wok has about a 3-1/2 inch wide circumference that is flat. I took a photo of the wok bottom but I don't see any way to attach it to the Amazon response. Personally though, I do believe this wok will work for you.

Question:	How does it hold up after a few months of use? How about after a year? I'm tired of no-stick pans that give up after two months
Answer:	6 years.....I received mine in 2013 as a gift from my husband. I used it at least twice a week. I am just now looking to replace it only because it is just beginning to stick a little which I think is due to operator error......that is, letting it get too hot one time too many. I am usually careful about this but occassionally it does happen. If you take care of it, hand wash and don’t jack up the temperature to instantly cook something, it will last you a long time. Until recently, It was rated No. 1 by Americas Test Kitchen for a number of years.

Answer:	This pan is 2 1/2 inches deep. Iv'e been using it for months and love it. It has worked great for everything I've used it for except frying eggs and that's because I steam then instead of turning them over. There's too much air for the eggs to steam well, so I use an old shallow pan for that. I see some of the other answers say it's only 1 3/4 " deep, but I measured mine and it's 2 1/2.

Answer:	This pan holds 2-1/2 quarts filled to the brim. It is only 10 inches wide and 2-1/2 inches deep. I replaced a similar pan but it was much deeper. I wish my new pan was bigger.
Question:	Why do the instructions say not to use these pans on Medium-High or High heat settings? Isn't that completely ridiculous and unrealistic
Answer:	Most manufacturers have abandoned PFTE (Teflon), and have switched to safer alternatives, like titanium or ceramic. These newer materials, while safer, still have the same temperature limitations, as any non-stick coating will expand at a different rate than the metal substrate. For similar reasons, you should avoid rinsing a hot pan with cold water if you want it to last a long time.

Answer:	Well, that question I can not guarantee that the T-fal Saute pan is scratch free. As with most non-stick pans metal utensils are not recommended. The pan I have does not have any scratches on it and not everyone in my household use wood or plastic cooking utensils. I am really satisfied with my T-fal Saute Pan, I'm sure so will you.

Question:	Can this TFal pot be used on an induction cooker
Answer:	No, this pan cannot be used on an induction burner. It is misleading for a seller to say that it can. The materials inside the box say that some T-fal cookware is induction compatible, and to refer to outer packaging if unsure. It took me awhile to find the information on the box, but eventually found small icons that indicate the cookware is compatible with gas, electric, ceramic and halogen, but is silent as to induction. Apparently, that tells you it is not induction compatible. To be sure, I tested the pan - it does not work on an induction burner. Apparently, only larger capacity stainless steel T-fal pots and pans are induction compatible. I have found T-fal cookware to be of good quality and don’t understand why the company has made information regarding induction compatibility so difficult to discern.

Answer:	We have a glass top stove & have had no trouble at all with this pan sliding or jumping. I don't know what kind of force someone's using to stir their food, but wow! That being said, we absolutely love this pan! It's deep enough to cook a double-portion of most of our recipes, which is why we got it. We loved it so much we ordered another one!

Question:	Is it easy to clean
Answer:	Yes it is very easy to clean. The reservoir alone with the heating element lifts out of the unit, that makes it a snape clean.
Question:	The oil filter it self, does it need to be replaced or cleaned
Answer:	The filter is a built in wire mesh type and doesn't need to be replaced as far as I can tell. The only part that may need to be replaced at some point is the rubber seal around it. Hope that helps. I've been using mine for a few months and absolutely love it. The best part of this fryer is the filter system and how you can drain your oil and store it in the plastic container until you need it again. It makes for cleaning and replacing the oil a breeze.
Question:	Can you leave the plastic oil container in while frying
Answer:	Yes - The 'fry" switch keeps the hot oil separated from the plastic oil storage container while frying. Once the oil has cooled, the switch is turned to drain and it flows into the storage container.
Question:	How many oil re-use cycles is recommended? I know there comes a time when the oil goes bad, gets overloaded with flavors from previous cookings, etc
Answer:	Big Ron,I've used it 8x already and probably could maybe squeeze a couple more out. But, I think 8-10 is a good estimate depending on the type of foods your cooking. I've used it to cook meat, desserts, ect... in all the same cycle of oil.

Answer:	No. Covers do not come with these pans. HOWEVER, they can be purchased separately anywhere that sells Cuisinart in sets or separates. I found that the cover for the Cuisinart soup pot fits the smaller frying pan and the cover for the 5 quart sauce pan fits the larger frying pan. Hope that helps,
Question:	How deep is it
Answer:	Maybe older versions of this pan set were not induction compatible, but I just ordered this set on 03/23/18 and it very clearly states on the retail packaging the pans came in "SAFE FOR ALL STOVETOPS INCLUDING INDUCTION" and "INDUCTION READY". I cannot verify what this means because I don't have an induction cooktop, but from this wording it sounds like it will work with an induction cooktop.

Question:	Can this pan be used on an induction cooktop
Answer:	Gail - I've looked everywhere I know and I can't find the answer. All they say about this is the surface is "Titanium reinforced Quantanium nonstick interior". PFOA and PTFE are used in making teflon. So that's not our interior. I can tell you that I've had these pans for over 2 years. They are used at least 4 times a week. I use plastic or silicon utensils and I hand wash only (Dawn). When the bottoms look burnt up, I use a bit of oven cleaner on them and they shine right up. They spread and retain the heat pretty good and I found it a pain in that the lids had to be bought separately. I hope that helps in your decision. :)
