Answer:	GasOne only indicates that the material is stainless steel. I understand that 304 is the most commonly used but I can't verify. I would suggest contacting GasOne. I can verify it is not as rugged as some of the high price top of the line kettles available but it is sufficiently rugged and hasn't leaked withstanding the test of many batches of beer over 3 years. Still looks like new and in great shape so I hope to get at least another 3 years use out of it.

Answer:	Yes there are two different type of o rings that come with this kettle. I ended up using one of each I believe, just as the instructions show. You're good no matter how you do it as long as it doesn't leak. My brewsie Kettle only came with one wrench as well, which in my case was all I really needed.

Answer:	I have now used mine for a year. Approximately 50 brews on a Turkey burner type heat source. The bottom is good as new. I've been very impressed with this kettle.

Answer:	Yes, the bolt is just a plug. You just need to add a weldless thermometer.
Question:	Can the stainless steel thermometer be added where the bolt is
Answer:	Brass, as in the brass body if the ball valve, usually has small amounts of lead added to improve the "manufacturability" of the brass. Without lead, brass is a much more difficult material to work with. The original 1986 California Prop 65 law requires that ALL products containing ANY amount of lead be labeled. The Federal Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974 has had several amendments, including a tightened restriction on lead that is pending in 2020 (0.25 % I believe). But it's important to keep in mind that many reactive/toxic elements like water, oxygen, molybdenum, etc. in tiny amounts, are actually necessary in human diets. Lead is not presently known to be necessary, and is currently assumed to NOT be needed. However, that could change as additional research is done. Finally, in spite of the dangers that are omnipresent on our planet, you CAN replace any brass components with their stainless steel counterparts. They cost more, but a 100% stainless steel system would lower lead exposure to minimum practical levels.

Answer:	I believe so. It is of good quality. I have used it several times and as of now is my back up kettle (or secondary kettle on big brew days). I invested in Clawhammer Supply's 1650v System and it is amazing to say the very least. I am on electric thus the thermometer is of high importance since it's a little harder to control a consistent temp. I have roughly about 2 to 3 gallon burn off so if you're using electric, make sure you account for the burn off. You could also get an insulation jacket for the pot (I got one off the Clawhammer Supply site) which should improve the efficiency of keeping the kettle at a more consistent temperature. Overall, I highly recommend this piece of equipment but if you think you are going to keep upgrading your system (like I did) then I would save the money and look into something like Clawhammer Supply's BIAB or Grainfather or Robobrew.

Answer:	For boiling the wort, yes. I mash in an Igloo cooler with a manifold at the bottom. (There are good YouTube videos on how to home brew using this method.) The marks on the inside of this kettle are very good for determining how much wort you are boiling. Hope this helps!

Answer:	We use ours on the stove mostly, but we use it as an acid bath for dying. We have had no problems with any of the bayou classic pots we have purchased (3). Hope that helps

Question:	What are the dimensions of the 12 quart pot
Answer:	Not counting the handles or lid. To the very top it is 11". Across the top it measures 12" inside diameter. (the sides are straight, so the inside bottom should be the same) This will be fine for dry goods. If you are filling it with a liquid, then it is 9" high, just below the bottom rivets. If you fill it above the rivets, it will leak. If you are going to boil water, I wouldn't fill it any higher than 8" max.
Question:	quart - What is the height and diameter of the 20 quart pot
Answer:	The dimensions given for an 8-quart pot are larger than the 12 and 16-quart pots.
Question:	What is the diameter of the 20 quart pot
Answer:	The review is correct. I purchased when living in a condo with gas burners. When I purchased a house with a glass top stove, my fears concerning the pot were confirmed. Bringing to a boil takes twice as long on the glass top. Time for an upgrade.
Question:	Is the bottom of the pot flat, or does it have a ridge around it? I have a glass-top stove, so I need it to have uniform contact area on bottom. Thx
