Answer:	It would depend on how much water you put in the pot... the basket sits 1" from the bottom of the pot with the feet fully extended. So if you add 2" of water the basket is submersed 1"...Hope that helps...

Answer:	While I simply rinsed it under water, the product worked great. My husband washed it in the dishwasher the other day and now the steamer insert is rusty. I’d say great product, just be sure to rinse under water immediately after using.

Answer:	I do love this steamer and use it often cooking eggs or spinach in both instant pot and regular stovetop cooking - it's been great! I think it would be a bit wobbley - those silicon feet seem to collapse to my thinking. But it cannot hurt to try it out- give it a try - Will the springform pan fit on it? Will it jiggle too much? Can you get it in & out with liquid in it without spilling? Making a double sling (like a cross ) with foil might be safer.

Answer:	7 inches inside and 4 and 5/8 deep , outside dia is 7 1/4 at the top lip. The steamer fits inside and is 3 1/2 deep. The lid fits both nicely.

Answer:	The vegetables are placed in the top steamer basket and a few inches of water in the bottom pot. Place the steamer basket on top of the pot and cover with lid. Steam - cooking on med to low heat until the veggies are cooked to your liking. Cooking times will vary depending on your vegetable. Be sure to use pot holders with the handles - as they do get hot
