Answer:	By deduction it looks like yes: Their Ceramic series specifically calls out that it does not have PTFE (brand name Teflon). This one (Stone series) does not say that. However, it does say it's free of PFOA, PFBS, and other substances that have been found to be harmful components of previous generations of Teflon coating.
Question:	How deep (in inches or cm) the inside of this pan? Please use a ruler to measure
Answer:	This is the second pan I have ordered from this company and so far they seem to be very scratch resistant. The pans I ordered in the past before these two are not as scratch resistant to the metal spoons I use as these are. I got this one as it has deeper sides then the first one I ordered so it fits my needs for all in one dishes (hamburger helper, chili, etc.) better then the first one. Use the first one for breakfast type meals and this one for skillet meals. This may be my opinion but I also feel the nonstick surface is better. Especially if you melt cheese and things like that. The only bad thing is if you order both pans they have separate lids as they are not exactly the same size pan. Which means you do have to keep the lids with the right pans ;P

Question:	Can this stainless steel saucepan be used in the oven
Answer:	The handle is made of thick stainless steel and is solid and will not break.It doesn't hurt to hold it in your hand.
Question:	I have an induction stove and found that pans with really strong magnetic "fields" are the best. How strong does a magnet hold on the bottom of pan
Answer:	The handle did not get hot. I have not used the lid while cooking.
Question:	Is the handle sturdy? Will it break if you cook too much food in the pan
Answer:	Only on induction cooktop and only when set on high. I have never needed to go much beyond half power 60 - 70% is generally more than enough even to boil a large pot. Also it is a normal thing with induction cooking to have that noise and I don't even notice it any more. That said the Chantel is the best set I have ever owned.
Question:	Do the lid and pan handles get hot
Answer:	I have not found that to be a problem. I, however always make sure the handles are not directly over the flame. The handles on the lids do get hot, so be sure to always use a hot pad to lift the lid from the pan.
