Answer:	Not really. You can slice it thin, but not deli thin.
Question:	is this pan PFOA free
Answer:	You can use ground meat, one piece (pork loin or whole breast) or chopped meat. Try different types of meat. I like mix of ground chicken with pork. I usually simmer for 2 hours in around 180-190 F. They have some recipes on madax website.

Question:	Is the non-stick surface PTFE-free
Answer:	Old question but I will hopefully answer correctly. From the information I have gathered thus far, all aluminum products have the same or similar coating as other non-stick cookware. So, I don't know the value of using aluminum over traditional non-stick other than maybe specific considerations for heat/etc. According to a quick general search, non-stick coatings should be PTFE free. when reseraching specifically aluminum, research says the aluminmum is coasted in a layer of "oxide". Maybe that means it is a thin layer of a nonsticky metal. That is where my info ends, I can't get any more specifics. In the end I al staying away from anything saying non-stick/coating.

Answer:	From the top of the pan without the lid, it is 2 3/4 inches. From the top of the lid rim, it is 3 inches deep.
Question:	What is the pan's diameter
Answer:	The pan is 12" in diameter and 2 1/2" deep. I use it for a large variety of meals, but mainly for cassarole prep.

Answer:	As others have said, T-Fal has some cookware that works with induction and some that does not. I bought this one T-fal C51782 ProGrade Titanium Nonstick Thermo-Spot Dishwasher Safe PFOA Free with Induction Base Saute Pan Jumbo Cooker Cookware, 5-Quart, Black and tested it when it arrived. It works well on my induction cook top.

Answer:	Great question and we definitely understand the confusion. It comes down to how the USDA defines the term "cured". Applegate products like this one that are "uncured" are labeled as such because we use naturally occurring nitrates found in celery to cure our products instead of synthetic chemical nitrates. Per USDA regulation, in order for a product to be called "cured" it must contain the synthetic chemical nitrates that we do not use to cure our products. We've actually petitioned the USDA to change this but we we're unfortunately not successful. The celery powder that we use to cure our products produces the same effect and draws out the moisture as you allude to. It's a regulatory nuance. Otherwise the silver aluminum contacts that glass cooktop service and leaves PERMANENT marks on the glass cooktop. You cannot get them off 100%... I learned this the HARD WAY with my last stove. It still cooks EVENLY.

Answer:	Yes it can. I bought this pan for that exact reason. I have put it in a 425 degree oven.
Question:	Does it stay flat over time? I have another Al skillet the same size and over time time the center raised up making it impossible to cook evenly
Answer:	I got the 733-30H 5 1/2 quart pan. Both it and the 3 1/2 quart pan is stainless steel not aluminum. Yes the bottom stays straight unless it is severely over heated as in left on a high burner with nothing in it. I did have a stainless pan destroyed that way. It boiled dry and was left.
Question:	What is the dimentions of each size
Answer:	The fry pan is 12 inches inside and 3 inches deep. It is nice and heavy with a heat sink plate on the bottom. Very nice glass lid. The dual handles work great and don't get as hot as most skillets. Each time we clean the skillet I heat it up and use olive oil to cure the stainless to keep it from sticking. Answer:	I just got this pan and it is great1 Although I do not have an induction stove top the box states it works on induction tops. I also include a pic of the pan with refrigerator magnets stuck to the bottom to show that it is magnetic! Maybe older versions did not I don't know but this current version does!
