Answer:	We used our pan in our apartment with no problems. The oil drips out of the side hole very well because the pan is shaped like a cone, all the excess fat leaves the pan and not a lot of smoke. Which also makes the meat /pork belly very crispy =) Hope this helps ! Happy grilling

Answer:	this pan has hole for drain oil, so you need to put some bowl or tray underside to hold dripping oil, you can use gas stove but make sure there is space for the dripping tray...

Answer:	I have not personally, it's main design is for on the counter w/ butane gas burner. You probably could use it over a bbq pit but be careful as the heat will be more intense.
