Question:	Is it flat bottomed
Answer:	Agree with previous answers. There is about 1 inch of space between the bottom of the rack and the pan. I roasted a 23 pound turkey in it for Thanksgiving and had no issues with the drippings touching the bottom of the bird. I think that is what you are asking?
Question:	How many pounds will it hold of the turkey
Answer:	The pan itself is 16" long, yes. But with the overhanging handles it is actually 21" long. It is 13" wide and 3 1/2" high/deep. Hope this info helps you.
Question:	How much space between rack and pan
Answer:	Now I'm even more confused. If 17' X 13" refers to the length and width respectively then what does 18" X 14.8" represent? Surely the height of the roaster with or without handles has nothing to do with length or width of the pan.
Question:	I see that it's 16" long. What are the other actual measurements -- width and height

Question:	How big of a turkey would fit in it
Answer:	I'm pretty sure the rack is also stainless steel. It's substantial and heavy just like the pan. I know it's not aluminum because there's no way it would be as heavy if it were. The pan is amazing. I bought it thinking I'd use it mainly as a casserole/lasagna pan but to be honest I use it at least twice a week with the rack to roast meats. It cleans really easily and I have had no issues with rust on either the pan or the rack. And I haven't used the pan without the rack more than a handful of times. We roast chicken thighs at least twice a week and often also make pork or beef on another night. I'd say we use this pan and rack at least three times a week and as yet have had no issues with rust. I both hand wash and wash in the dishwasher. It's a really good pan
Question:	Is this oven safe to 500 degrees

Question:	Can i bake a 28 lb Turkey
Answer:	We haven't used it much, so I don't know if the coating will wear off. The pan is fairly easy to clean but the rack is more difficult. It takes a fair amount of scrubbing, but does clean with some effort.
Question:	Will this hold a 20lb turkey
Answer:	Stainless steel yeilds better sucs (the brown bits left in the pan during cooking), therefore will make better gravy or sauces.
Question:	Can this pan hold a 25 lb turkey
Answer:	I just measured mine to be sure and it's 16x13 inches. I haven't done a turkey yet but I did a 7 rib Prime Rib and it worked just fine. I think a bird that large would fit.
Question:	where is this made? is this high priced china junk
Answer:	(Please note I originally answered "USA" because everything I could find on the web seemed to indicate as such.) Until I found the following buried in the product specifications at e-store.allclad.com: 'Non-stick interior Dishwasher safe 16" x 13" Made in China'. Sigh. Answer:	If you are setting next to it it makes a little noise when making ice once done it is fine. Works great.
