Answer:	I have this electric oven as well. I am not sure about the heating element switching on and off. However my oven takes around 45 minutes to come up to temp with a thermometer visible thru the window. It also will not maintain a constant temp. I also wonder about why the heat element is under the solid steel floor of the oven. It has never made sense to me as to why there is an exhaust blower sucking the heat out of the oven all the time. This makes it nearly impossible to use the oven in warm weather. As soon as I can find an "American" made wall oven, I'm going to junk this thing.

Answer:	The Question is a good one and the answer from "diversityrox" in incorrect. The product is dishwasher safe ... I have had mine for over a years use it three time a week, wife puts in the dishwasher and it comes out looking like new on the cooking area.. The bottom is as with any cookware showing burnt marks but no damage whatsoever... I cook in the oven and on top of the grill (under 450 degrees) absolutely nothing turns out bad... Bottom line: These product and ones like it are insanely good, easy to clean and look great day in and day out... Any buyer will be pleasantly Wowed by this product. Money well spent. end of story
Question:	Can I mash potatoes in the kettle
Answer:	Yes. However, I did trade all my metal utensils in for silicon ones. Although I can say I have mashed potatoes in this without issue (using my silicon hand masher) , I can not say if the pot would have been damaged had I tried with a steel and/or power mixer.

Actually I have used the two kinds of pans side by side, Gotham steel gave a better finish to the fried chicken. It makes the best oven meals. Answer:	I stack the Frying pans but not the sauce pans. With all non stick surfaces you have to be careful not to bang them together. But I love the pans , as long as you don't go above Medium flame it stays non-stick . But they have better heat, it distributes the heat better than other pans.

Answer:	Do not put these in the dishwasher, or use metal utensils and the non stick should last the lifetime of the pans, and yes you use high heat to boil water
