Answer:	If this is made the same as my set (which is at least 15 years old) this is stainless steel with a vinyl coating and can be sterilized. If you can't sterilize your equipment then you run the risk of contaminating your product. The funnel can also be sterilized.

Answer:	If it's magnetic, then it's NOT 18/10 stainless, as the description claims. According to metallurgists, only lesser grades of stainless are magnetic, due to the percentage of chromium,nickel, and molybdenum that makes up 18/10 Stainless Steel.
Question:	Where can I purchase a replacement glass lid
Answer:	6 months ago I contacted Ball to get a replacement lid- they were great over the phone/email stating they would immediately shop me a replacement lid at NO COST. Sadly 6 emails/phone calls later still no lid and no response - I gave up unfortunately.
Question:	Is the canner deep enough not to boil over
Answer:	If you are using half-pints & pints it will not boil over; however, with quarts it will bubble over slightly if you keep it at a hard rolling boil. Other than that I love this canner, just with the rack was of the same quality as the canner :)
Question:	CAN BE USED ON GLASS TOP STOVES
Answer:	Yes, I use mine on a glass top stove. You just have to be careful about the weight of the canner, so it doesn't crack the glass. Set it down gently, don't drop it or move it roughly.

Question:	Can you use these home supplies in very hot oil
Answer:	I have not tried this. I think i would if the occasion came up. But so as to avoid accidents that I will not soak in oil pan or keep the canning tools in high temperature environment for a long time.

Answer:	Yes it does fit a regular jar. It just looks like it won't, due to the wide opening. That way you can fill the jars easier, and not worry about getting the juices and fruit or vegetables all over everything.

Answer:	I don’t believe so. I make the most amazing ragu, if I do say so myself, as well as sauces and fruit compotes, (blueberry and raspberry most) and I’ve had no issues of sticking nor staining with my set. It’s fantastic. Buy it!
