| Answer: | No. This is a very large jar. Approxiamtely a foot tall and 6 inches, at least, wide. This jar is not a canning jar. My husband now uses it to put his cookies in. The plastic piece on the inside of the lid is not attached to the metal lid. You can super glue the plastic piece to the metal lid and this will help. |
