Lid area is small and if you have large hands, youmay not be able to get inside to clean or whatever. I took one out of its boxand the local CHINA store (W-mrt) and looked. Answer:	Yes, The water stays at one of the three temperatures it has been set.I leave mine on 24/7.

Answer:	Made in Japan. This looks like a new model. The QuikTemp feature is new. It now does not boil the water (212 degrees) every time you add water or unplug it by accident. If you have it set to 195, like I do, it only heats the water to that temperature. Thus not wasting power and time.. I had two of the CV-DSC40 VE models, both of which developed rusting issues up top under the lid. An very expensive disposable appliance. They too were made in Japan so... I am hoping this model does not rust out like the other two did. I have read almost every review of these things and it seems that Zojirushi CS is essentially useless. I just threw the others out after reading many people here say that calling them was almost pointless...But they really are great when they work or are rust free, if you drink a lot of tea or make those Japanese big boy Udon cup (bowl) of noodles. Just a bit pricy...
Question:	what is the inside lining? stainless or plastic
Answer:	All Zojirushi products are BPA-free. The inner container of the water boiler is stainless steel with nonstick coating, the inner lid is stainless steel, and both are BPA-free. Some gaskets and the outer lid that may come into contact with water are silicone or plastic, and also do not contain BPA.
Question:	Does it use a lot of power? Have you noticed a change in your electric bill after using this
Answer:	You most likely won't notice it, but those who want the detail then continue to read. Based on the manual the keep warm mode takes from 11W-20W per hour for the 4L version depending on the keep warm temperature. The 5L version takes about 14W-26W per hour depending on keep warm temperature. When the unit is boiling / reboiling it consumes 840W per hour, however it takes about 35-40 minutes to boil the water from room temperature to full boil. For example: We have the 4L version and we fill it once a day and set it at 175 degrees and allow it to go to a full boil. The approximate power usage is (12W * 24 hours + 840W * 0.58 hours) = ~780W for the entire day (i.e. less than 1KW per day or approximately 24KW for the month). For us 1KW is about 12 cents, so it cost less than $3 per month for us to operate.

Answer:	Are Memory Foam Pillows Machine Washable? No, memory foam pillows are not machine washable. The squishy foam that supports your head when you go to sleep cannot be thrown into the wash with the rest of your linens. In fact, the constant agitation of a washing machine will break down your pillow or crack the foam.

Answer:	I didn't notice it was marked a Kids thermos. We have both the old american version and the new China version. The american version is heaver (maybe better insulated but we haven't noticed if it is). The size is identical in both and uses the same cap at the top.
Question:	Over time, does the mug retain flavors or smells? I only get 3-4 months of daily coffee use out of my mugs before they start retaining flavors/smells
Answer:	I have an older thermos that I have used for work for over 30 years. I believe it was made in Tennessee. Several years ago I got a new one made in China. The products made in China are far inferior to the ones that were made in the US. I have broken the stopper a couple of times but they are relatively easy to find on eBay. The US-made Thermos bottles definitely keep drinks warmer longer.
Question:	Are the plastic components on the mug BPA-free
Answer:	The 1.1 quart thermos is made in China. Please ignore the nonsense about lead. 18/8 stainless has no lead--it's chromium and nickel, so if you are sensitive to nickel, you should be aware that nearly all stainless steel has this issue. The potential for lead is at the solder points. The only solder points visible on this thermos are the handle attachments, but they are powder coated, just like the rest of the exterior. In other words, there is no lead danger from this thermos whatsoever.

Answer:	It connects through USB and 3.5mm stereo audio. So if your TV does not have either of those, I think you might be out of luck. Even if it did, I'm not one hundred percent positive that it would be compatible. It is a little small for a TV anyways, I use mine for my desktop, and its perfect size for that. I believe that you will be dissapointed with the product, albeit a good product, if you used it with your TV. There are some much better options for sound bars for the TV, probably for only 40 bucks more. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Good luck!

USB provides power to the speaker which is probably why you didn't hear anything, and 3.5mm jack stereo is to output the sound from the tv.
