Should Not Exceed the Water Tank MAX Capacity

Precautions about Coffee Powder

Do not use ground coffee too coarse, or it will cause a very weak espresso.

Do not exceed the MAX line on the funnel. A spoonful of powder is about 7g. When making coffee, please put 2 spoons of powder.

Do not temper the coffee powder too hard, or it will cause a very slowly brew and consequent coffee bad flavour.

Removable Cup Holder

Following are some tips to improve your use experience.



1. Possible water detection on the back/bottom of the coffee machine

When we remove the water tank from the machine, the inverse pressure could come out from the machine valve and cause a little amount of residual water. We recommend to wipe the residual water before installing the water tank, otherwise the water could drain under the machine and generate the wrong idea of leakage.



2. Hot warning about portafilter leaks

When installing the portafilter, be sure to install it firmly on perpendicular lock position, otherwise the strong pressure could push it away when the machine brewing. We strongly recommend to use the correct amount and ground size of coffee powder.



3. Warning about low Espresso coffee temperature

After pressing the ON/OFF button, machine will start to warm up. Observe the thermometer indicator to make sure that the machine temperature reaches the area around coffee symbol, then click the "BREWING ESPRESSO" button.



4. Espresso coffee is too weak in taste or crema

Grinding size and quantity of ground coffee powder, directly affect on the quality result in cup about crema and flavour. Since the machine can't choose the cup size, we suggest to use for 2 cup 40/50 ml of Espresso, approximately 14 gr/2 spoons of fine ground coffee, and temper it allined to the MAX Level line. When reaching the desired amount, pressing "MAKING ESPRESSO " again to stop brewing.



5. Lack of steam temperature/ steam wand releases water

When the MILK FROTTER button is pressed, the machine is running and the water temperature will grew to achieve the steam. It is strongly recommended that waiting the correspond green light show the ready status, then rotate the steam knob. Please release water in the first few seconds, then start to froth the milk.

Answer:	Yes. You need converter. UK is 220v, 50HZ and USA is 120v, 60HZ . You need converter to care your SAECO, check manual for watt
Question:	I noticed that the bottom tray collects a significant amount of diluted coffee/water liquid that is not from the pre/post rinse. is there a leak
Answer:	All of these types of machines will have a small amount of overflow water that leaks into the drip tray. If it’s excessive, there may be an issue, most of which can be fixed yourself. The drip tray should be emptied after each use as the liquid will accumulate and eventually spill over. It’s not exclusive to this machine, it’s all expresso machines designed like this, including other brands. I use to have a Lattisama that I thought was broken, but it turns out it was completely normal.
