Question:	Does it have hot water spout for tea or to make americano on occasion
Answer:	Yes it does. Right next to where it pours the shot, there is a spout for hot water. Just to note, the water that comes out of it is near-boiling. (~200° F). Perfect for Americanos or to get some hot water to clean an espresso cup or something. It will of course work for tea, but just keep in mind that you can't control the water temp. It comes out at the same temperature that it uses for pulling the espresso, which is near-boiling. If you are a tea connoisseur then you probably know that some tea like green tea should actually be steeped at lower temps like 170° or 180° to prevent burning. This water is around 200° which is good for herbal and black teas, but might burn more delicate teas like green and white teas. It works fast, essentially on demand (1-3 second warmup). But one of the many tea kettles that Breville makes would be better if you are making tea frequently. I have the Breville IQ Kettle next to this espresso machine and use the two interchangeably. Both this espresso machine and the IQ Kettle are amazing products made by Breville. The IQ Kettle will make water to the exact temp you set it to and hold it at that temp (between 130° and 220° F by 5° increments). Both appliances compliment a drink bar nicely.

Answer:	No. It's a single boiler. They advertise it as a "3 seconds start up with ThermoJet® heating system." which means the system heats the water pretty much on demand. Answer:	The issue people are raising is about a "grind setting" for use in a "French Press" style coffee maker. This grinder works nicely for "drip" and "espresso" grinds, I produces a very fine to moderate grind. But I cannot produce a coarser grind for use in a French Press, this I seems to be an issue for this grinder. Unless the burr can somehow be adjusted beyond what the rotary dial indicates for a coarse grind.

Question:	After the shot is pulled, how long does it take for the steamer to steam the milk
Answer:	Before pulling a shot on the BEXL Infuser™, or any Breville® espresso machine, it is always recommended that a shot with no coffee grounds be pulled and that the steam wand be turned on for approximately 20 to 30 seconds. This allows the brew head and steam wand to not only head up themselves but to also purge out any unheated water, ensuring that what comes out when you need it is as hot as it should be. That being said, once steaming has begun it's entirely a matter of taste. Generally it should only take between 25 and 45 seconds to have a frothing jug full of either thick fluffy foam or rich silky foam.

Answer:	When we bought our 840 Infuser, we already had a really good grinder, a Baratza Encore. I think we paid around 100 dollars for the Encore, which grinds our beans to an absolute perfect grind (just under #10 on the grinder adjustment) After fooling around with different beans and roasts, I surrendered and started buying the best espresso beans I know of, the Neapolitan Espresso whole beans from Mr Espresso in Oakland, California. This combination registers a perfect, and extremely smooth shot (s) every single time. The pucks literally fall out of the portafilter in to the knock box. No banging or other violence required. :) But the question is " Buy the 870 with a grinder or a 840 and get your own? If we had to do it all over, I'd get an even better Baratza grinder. They make one that grinds the amount by weight, so you always get exactly the right amount. The Baratza Setta 270 is about 400 bucks, but dang it, it has a small footprint and everyone says it is the shiznitz. (The best "by weight") grinder. At any rate, you should get a conical burr grinder, and if you want quality, stick with a Baratza or Breville grinder. You get what you pay for. In fact, as much as I love our Infuser, I already am planning to get a dual boiler so I don't have to wait for the machine to recharge before steaming milk. Is it an obsession? Maybe, but do I care? Heck no! Get a separate grinder, and an Infuser.

We used full fat heavy cream, we have used full fat coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk and NOTHING. Question:	How tall of a cup can I fit in this machine without removing the lower section
Answer:	You can put a larger cup right in front (but not inside) the machine, and use a much larger--including 12 oz--cup. I do that alot--no need to remove the pieces inside the machine. You can also program this machine easily to give you the volume you prefer (I have programmed my for 8 oz). But if you like really strong coffee, you might not want to do that.
Question:	Do the used cup go into a storage container within the machine
Answer:	Yes, when you lift the lever, the used capsules fall into a container below. It fits about 6 capsules. The container slides out like a drawer for emptying/cleaning.

Answer:	Yes they can. There are two filters included with this machine and one is specifically designed to fit ESE pods.

Answer:	Absolutely not! You can only brew with Nespresso's Vertuo cups. They are completely different and twice the cost of a K-cup. This is really excellent coffee and a luxury product.
Question:	I saw this item has a P65 cancer and reproductive harm warning. Can I get more information on this
Answer:	I used to be a barista and there is also reproductive harm warning for espresso machines due to the milk residue left on the tools used to froth the milk. We were trained to clean it very well after each use. I can’t remember why but I was trained that the milk froth left over was potentially hazardous, to pregnant women especially, so may be worth looking into the hazards regarding the frothed milk.

Using the included Spoon/Tamper, Tamp your beans firmly into the portafilter.

Lock in the portafilter

Lock the portafilter into the machine by inserting and turning to the right.

Turn the dial

After pressing the On/Off button the Green light will illuminate, indicating the machine is ready to brew. Turn the dial to the Espresso setting and the espresso will begin to extract. When you have reached your desired amount, turn the dial back to the middle setting.
