Answer:	Could work outdoors if you know where rats or mice are located/path they travel.

Answer:	It definitely kills rats. We had 1 or more and within a few days of putting the Tomcat out, they were gone. I haven’t seen any dead mice but I’m assuming it kills them too.

My guess is for child and pet safety reasons. The warfarin active can kill and I guess if a hawk or fox eats a poisoned mouse.....Unfortunately, the old snap trap is the way to go. Glue traps are inhumane.

Answer:	Yes. But not the canister. I have the Pocket Rocket, a zippo lighter, and the Jetboil fuel can stabilizer (folded) that live in mine along with a microfiber cloth. Cloth goes in the bottom to protect the filter, and everything else fits in on top of it. Works very well.

Answer:	Yes. The lid can be used while on the flame but remove the press durning heating.
Question:	Is the press easier to press with hot water in container? Because dry, I almost had to stand on it to get it to plunge down
Answer:	Much like any amorous activity, dry is not good. The gasket on the bottom should remain in the most difficult to press position - its job is to prevent leakby into the filtered portion.

Answer:	If we're going by commandments, and you like it strong, I do 60 grams of course ground to 800 ml water at 205 degrees. Usually 13/1 ratio.

Answer:	Holds 50oz. I use a 16 oz. mug but at 6 oz. cups = 8 cups
Question:	Can this French press heat the water on an induction stovetop
Answer:	Yes, but I would not recommend it. Better to heat, just before boiling (do not boil) your water in one of your stainless steel pots and then pour the water over the ground beans in the coffee maker. Let the coffee soak in the hot water for four minutes then slowly press. If you were to heat the water directly in the press then you won't have as much control to make sure the water is not boiled and you'll get a better cup of coffee if you pour the hot water over the ground coffee and not already have the coffee in there with water that's changing temperature. Also, you'll get better tasting coffee by putting the coffee in before the hot water as opposed to putting the grounds into a pot of hot water. Don't ask me why but it just turns out better that way.

Answer:	Point to consider: you shouldn’t steal pots if you cannot spell, use punctuation, or grammar.

Answer:	A good rule of thumb is: 1 TBSP of coffee for every 7 - 8 oz of water. I use about 6 heaping TBSP for a full 1.5L pot, and I find it gives me a very strong, full-flavored coffee. Use more coffee for a stronger brew, and less for a weaker brew. It all comes down to taste. It may take several pots to determine the best combination of water, coffee grounds and brew-time for you. I've been french-pressing for many years, and I still experiment from time to time with proportions.

DISHWASHER SAFE

ADD GROUND COFFEE

To get started, simply add coarse ground coffee into the glass carafe.

POUR WATER

Next, pour hot water evenly over the coffee grounds. PRO TIP: pour in only ½ of your hot water and stir gently for about 5 seconds to mix grounds evenly. Then pour in the remaining hot water.

STEEP 3-4 MINUTES

Then, place the lid on the French press with the plunger pulled up and let it steep for about 3-4 minutes.

How does it work?

1. Place the French Press on the coffee table or counter-top.
