The latest maker was purchased in Mar. 2018 and I've never placed the carafe on the plate while it's warm and have always wiped down the carafe with paper towel. Yet, it's still corroding. Question:	My previous Ninja model kept a peristent smell through any attempts of cleaning. What is the best cleaning solution for this maker
Answer:	Mine stays hot until about 4:00 pm and I have it set up to brew at 6:00 am so I have no idea what could be the problem with yours.
Question:	How do you make cappuccino and lattes using this machine? Do you use regular coffee grounds or espresso
Answer:	When the inside of the pot gets stained put a "dishwasher tablet" in the pot with boiled very hot water. Let it sit awhile, then I rinse really well and the run a vinegar water solution thru the pot (per instructions in book that came with the pot) be sure to remove filter, then I usually run at least two 12 cups of plain water thru pot and you have a clean pot and maker. Just be sure to rinse the pot really well after cleaning you wouldn't want to get any of the cleaner in the maker. I also change the filter at the same time. We've had out pot for 10-12 yrs and still love it!
Question:	Can you use it under a wall cabinet? The ads show it on a kitchen counter under a cabinet similar to ours

Answer:	We just received this unit. The 3400 with insulated carafe indeed has a warming plate. I have no clue why. After all the thermal carafe is supposed to keep the coffee hot so it seems odd. And given how many complaints I see in these reviews about the warming plate rusting and breaking etc on the model 3200 (glass carafes) I'm more than a little concerned. I didnt expect a warming plate. Our old Cuisinart (975TC) thermal carafe kept the coffee hot for several hours and had no warming plate. From what I can tell so far, the plate seems quite hot when the unit first turns off after brewing and I guess shuts off soon after ... ? 30 minutes after brewing the warming plate is cool. Obviously with the thermal carafe there is no need to keep the warming plate going to keep coffee warm like the 3200 glass carafe unit but again there seems to be no reason for it in the first place. Is it supposed to temper the carafe while in the brew cycle? The manual says nothing about it at all. The model 3200 manual clearly discusses the 3 temperature settings for the warming plate. On the 3400 the square "Program" button is the "Carafe Temp" button the 3200, so slightly different hardware in the control panel. I guess we will see how it goes.

Answer:	Negative. It was 155 degrees as soon as it reached my cup so brew temperature wasn't higher than 175. It was not hot coffee.

Question:	does the pot leak
Answer:	I agree. Why have a choice of 1-4 cups? If you put 2 cups of water it’ll brew 2 cups. It would be nice for me if I could fill the water up to 12 cups and brew 2 cups a day for several days. You’d just have to add new coffee not water. I’m considering buying this machine but I’m not sure how long the coffee will stay hot. I have a Mr coffee now and it only stays hot about an hour.

Answer:	This does not have a water filter.( Cuisinart brand do have a filter as well as some Mr Coffee FYI ).Water source makes a big difference on taste. Try it with another water source and test for yourself.

Answer:	The water gets hot enough but we had trouble with the lid flow valve sticking closed. At times the coffee would not flow through into the pot and would run over on the counter & floor. Had to make sure the valve in the top was open when assembling for brewing in the morning. Seemed like the valve would stick easily. I returned our coffee maker because it ran over twice.

Question:	Can you choose the amount you want to brew? Can it do a small amount, just one or two cups at a time
Answer:	There is no setting for number of cups to brew. You can, however, pour the amount of water you want to brew into the water intake compartment at the top of the coffee maker. For example, if you want to brew two cups of coffee, fill your coffee cup with water twice and pour it into water intake opening. The coffee maker will brew that amount of coffee.
Question:	do you need the pitcher for water or can you use the carafe
Answer:	I have the BT version of this coffee maker. It is the best coffee maker I have ever purchased! You can use the carafe, but I use a pitcher. If I know that the coffee will sit for a little bit, I rinse the pot with hot water to help keep the coffee hot in the carafe. My BT version makes fantastic coffee fast!
Question:	ready to buy a new Bunn. Bad reviews on the model chosen reference to the epoxy smells had this been resolved
Answer:	Mine is Great . No smell at all. I really like the stainless steel pot and it automatically turns off . So you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off
Question:	What are the height and depth of the carafe
Answer:	The depth is 12.5 inches, height is 15 inches. Easiest and quick coffee brewing. I had a ninja, was great at first but had issues and ninja replaced my first one after a year and the second one worked well for a year and half. So I went back to Bunn. Hope this helps!

Question:	Just wanting to know what is the functional difference between the cone and basket settings. what is the machine doing differently with each setting
Answer:	Lots of people online say they do crack dry soybeans with this mill. I tend to only use the fine setting but it looks like it could be set to very course.
Question:	Is the base of this coffee maker 12.4 inches wide like the manufacturer states or is it 13.5 as Amazon says? I have a real tight location for this
Answer:	Yes, the grain mill does fit and it works well on an older champion. I grind wheat and make my own bread with the champion.
Question:	Dies this Breville coffee maker have an automatic shutoff and is it programmable so that I can prep it the night before and it brews the next morning
Answer:	It did not work for me it was very difficult to take off and put on. I had the model listed you are asking about I emailed champion and I found out this one is for the newer model. I returned it.
Question:	Hi, is water tank removable
Answer:	That depends on the grain. Harder grains like wheat take a little longer. Millet or sorghum take less time. What I have found to be the best way to mill hard grains is to set the stones wide and just crack the grain first. Then I reset the stones to the setting I want my flour to be and run it through again. It takes about 1/2 the time to do it this way in my experience. If I set the stones narrow right off it can take up to 1/2 hour to mill 3-5# of grain. It's more work the way I've described, but if you're like me, time is money! :-)

Answer:	The 12 cup Brewer uses cone shaped filter
Question:	can I start it with my smart phone/wifi
Answer:	The Cuisinart features two separate reservoirs — one to brew a full pot of coffee & one for a single-serve cup. The two reservoirs mean that when you brew a pot, you aren’t using up all of the water from the single-serve reservoir — which is a plus. However both reservoirs are somewhat difficult to access. To answer your question, you don’t have to pour water in each time for the single-serve function, which is an improvement over some other dual coffee makers (like the Hamilton Flex Brew). The single-serve reservoir holds 40 oz — enough to brew three 10 oz cups or five 6 oz cups before refilling. (It requires a limited amount of water to remain in the reservoir to work properly.) For a larger reservoir, consider the Keurig K-Duo Plus, which features a 60-63 oz single reservoir. Hope that helps:)
