Question:	Can this be set to brew a cup when it is set to turn on in the morning?? So the cup of coffee is ready and warm when I get out of bed in the morning
Answer:	One way is to open up fully the lid of the water tank -> this will move the water tank slightly away from the espresso machine. Then, push the top of the water tank further away from the espresso machine- & when you feel the water tank is no longer firmly attached at it's base, you can pull up the water tank -> thereby detaching it from the espresso machine.

Answer:	An espresso or cappuccino cup will fit but not a regular coffee cup. Look at the Best Choice Products machine (BCP) it has a lot more height at the same or less price point. I am going to sell my Mixpresso machine as the BCP machine is overall better and makes a hotter cup of coffee.
Question:	What are the differences between K-Elite vs K
Answer:	The cup holder is 2 piece and the top section is removable. That said it still does not give you a lot of room for a tall cup. A short but larger cup will fit, but I had to purchase 6-8 oz cappuccino cups as my normal coffee cups did not fit under the spout.

Question:	I can see that there is another small cup there to make milk foam. Is that milk froather? Is that include in this selling package
Answer:	Smart Start heats then brews in one simple process. No need to wait for the brewer to heat before selecting brew size. Power on your brewer, add coffee, then select your brew size. The brewer will heat, then automatically begin brewing. Clock allows you to set an Auto On time. Unit only takes 45 seconds or less to heat up, and I brew one cup only, so I never use Auto On (timer). If this unit is on and warm, it takes about 60 seconds to brew a cup of coffee. Having this brew the coffee before you are up and ready to drink it is a waste of time because it might be cool before you get there. There is no pot and no warmer like in a drip coffee maker. It does not need one. Press to start, butter your toast, drink your HOT coffee. The big timesaver is the huge reservoir that allows you to make eight or more cups of coffee without having to refill it. The K elite will change the way you think about making coffee in the morning. It is that convenient.
Question:	how hot is the actual espresso when it is ready
Answer:	It's really not needed. I own a K575, which has a touch screen, and I think that this is much simpler. Plus no touchscreen to dirty up with fingerprints. This machine is simpler, and I believe that's one of its selling points. Should one really need to be choose a wallpaper for the screen of their coffee maker too? On the other hand, if you want to be able to tell the time by looking at your coffee maker, something you can easily do with several of the Keurig 2.0 machines, though the K-Elite has a digital time display, it can only be viewed by looking down on the machine from above. So if that's important to you this machine might not be a good choice.
Question:	My 9 month Staresso Base material has cracked from normal use in several places and it clearly brittle. Is there a way to fix this material problem
Answer:	Yes! This new Keurig machine is not a "2.0" Keurig. It does not have any DRM to prevent you from using whatever k-cup you desire. This machine is very reminiscent of the older Breville BKC700XL machine, except it provides separate button for each cup size plus it has options for "iced coffee", strong brew, and high-altitude brew.
Question:	Cleaning the metal basket according to instructions, the black rubber gasket and the black plastic disc/filter do not re-assemble! Any ideas
Answer:	I own both of he machines you're asking about. Differences are: The K575 is a "Keurig 2.0" machine, so it uses an optical detector to prevent you from using non-licensed k-cups. The K575 has a larger reservoir. The K575 has the ability to us the Keurig carafe, as well as the larger pods (which sounds like an advantage, but good luck finding those larger k-cup pods anywhere except the web). The K575 has a color digital display. The K-Elite has a high-altitude brew setting, is a much simpler machine, and seems to be built rock-solid. Of the two machines, I much prefer the K-Elite. It is smaller and a little more quiet than the K575. Plus without the DRM stuff it's simpler internally. In my opinion it is probably the best Keurig machine for home use built to date. And if you shop around you may be able to buy this unit for as low as $125, much less than I've ever seen the K575.

Answer:	Yes! I have tried ALL different kinds of milk. It worked the first month then it stopped frothing. We used full fat heavy cream, we have used full fat coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk and NOTHING. We will be reaching out to DeLonghi because this has been an issue before from the research I have done. I am hoping they can replace the frother. All the best.

Answer:	My Friend. There ARE plenty of YouTube videos that actually demonstrate how to use the top hand air pump to double as a milk froather. I haven't tried it myself, yet with just examining each piece of the equipment, looks like it will work. The upper plunger hand air pump will force a jet of pressurized air into the milk that can and does fit in the extra glass tumbler that comes with the kit. So, when you finish with pressing your espresso, then you can portion half the spare glass tumbler, take the plunger pump off the device, submerge the lower tip into the milk and carefully press down the pump to force the jet of air into the milk, making it eventually froath up. One component, double duty, pressurize the hot water chamber to 15-20 bars pressure than forces the hot water through the ground coffee puck, then when detached, press the plunger to force a jet of air to froath up milk in the second glass tumbler to finish making your cappuccino.
Question:	My lattes are cold. What am I doing wrong? The espresso is hot, but when I put the frothed milk in, it chills it. Steam longer and too frothy
Answer:	You fill it with hot water, then pump to pressurize the vessel and push water through the grinds. So the resultant temperature is a function of how hot the water is when you pour it in. Pushing the water through to make espresso is quick once the container is filled so the water does not cool down too much.
Question:	What size tamper do you use with this machine? 51 or 53 mm? It looks like the 58 would be too large
Answer:	The base is made of ABS, a common and inexpensive plastic material (same as used to make the black waste pipes used in homes). If my base cracked, I would either 1) try to get a replacement from the manufacturer under the warranty, 2) repair it with cyanoacrylate glue, or 3) cement it together with ABS glue (available at hardware stores). I recommend keeping it out of the sunlight as much as possible, as it deteriorates under UV light.
Question:	Is the boiler made of aluminum, and does aluminum otherwise come in contact with the water
Answer:	you can use the poder container to press the rubber gasket a little. please don't worry, the rubber gasket was made to keep the filter stay in place, a little dislocation won't influence the coffee you make.

Answer:	The airifier, which produces a rather foamy hot milk, can be removed. Using just the steam jet nozzel makes a much finer air bubble and hence, with practice, a much more professional hot milk suitable for making fancy latte art!
Question:	is this durable? plastic or metal
Answer:	Milk drinks in general should not be as hot as other coffee drinks. Milk should be frothed to 140 degrees F, and if you steam hotter than 155 degrees F, you'll lose all the flavor of the milk. At 140 degrees F, milk is the sweetest. If you want to stop frothing, bury the wand completely in the milk to stop injecting air.
Question:	Does this take the apreggio nespresso pods
Answer:	The plastic 51mm tamper is adequate when using the pressurized filters that come with the machine. To get a dramatically better espresso with true creama, however, you need to get a non-pressurized filter (the pressurized filters do not product true creama). The Mr. Coffee 4101 (or equivalent for $6 on Amazon) fowrks well. For this you need a heavy metal tamper to adequately tamp the coffee, it should be a 49mm size. You can get one for about $12 on Amazon.

Question:	What is the difference between the shot, strong, and cappuccino setting? They all seem to do the same thing
Answer:	I had that problem a lot. I finally decided it was because I packed a little too many espresso grounds into it. Reduce that amount just a tad and the handle will more easily slide over to the "right" position. Note: I have also just made the espresso with the handle not completely rotated to proper position. Worked fine. You just want to make sure that the handle won't come off during the brew.
Question:	For lattes/espresso drinks do you need specialty espresso pods or can you use regular coffee pods and just brew like a shot
Answer:	Tamper is 51mm exactly. The guy who said 52mm was guessing, it is 51mm.
Question:	What is the tallest cup you can use? Will a travel mug fit
Answer:	If you have coffee drinkers who are not into espresso- it's a very easy fix. Just make them a Cafe Americano. Make a double shot of espresso, put it into a regular coffee cup, and fill it up with hot water. VOILA! Cafe Americano, which is basically a cup of coffee. My daughter started making these with my espresso machine and now it's the only cup of coffee she wants. It makes a very smooth cup of coffee that is naturally lower in acid due to the steam pressure way of making the espresso. If you want cappuccino or latte, simply use the attached steam frothing wand to steam the milk and then add the shot of espresso. It's a very hand little machine.
Question:	How many bar pressure it has? Does it produxe creama
Answer:	NO, at least not with this machine 1. Not room for appropriate espresso carafe under the spout, nor is there room for certain espresso cups. 2. I don’t trust any company whose literature makes huge mistakes on measurements of their product, such as above in description where it says there is only “66 Centimeters” max space for espresso cup; for the few Americans that don’t know, 66 centimeters is about two feet. The machine is barely over a foot tall, and the measurement they likely meant was 66 millimeters.... huge difference. 3. Have to buy special scaling solution to clean? Every other coffee pot and espresso machine (I’ve owned Almost a dozen) You simply use white vinegar...so I used vinegar on this machine as well, it took six run through of water afterwards to get rid of vinegar smell, which tells me there is too much left over in the internals when the machine is stopped. I’ve never needed to run more than three carafes of water through any espresso machine or coffee pot previously to get rid of all vinegar smell. 4. This machine only makes two shots of espresso at a time, that may be fine for some, but I have sleep apnea, I need at least four shots of espresso in the morning to kickstart my heart; and this machine is a little annoying g to have to do all the work twice to get the right amount of espresso when most home espresso machines are 4 shot machines. 5. Fifteen minute warm up? No other espresso machine I have owned has required a warm up. Put in fine grounds and water and turn it on, come back in about a minute and a half and there is four shots of espresso waiting for me. I have not even “broken in” this machine yet, and likely will have more to say after using it for a couple weeks, and by then maybe the fact that it holds so much water in comparison to what is made each time will warm my heart to this machine... but considering I have to use it twice every morning instead of once to get my required four shots, and have to wait fifteen minutes for it to warm up, I DOUBT it.... I have a feeling this will be in a garage sale soon, just after I go buy another Mister Coffee (which I also gave negative reviews about, but for a small piece that breaks on the machine making it annoying to remove old grounds, but still works and makes four shots at a time). I replaced a three year old Mister Coffee with this machine, I switched to this one because I needed a new machine immediately and so was at the mercy of what was on the shelves at nearest Base Exchange. Now that I have this one to use in the mean time, I will look for a new machine that I like (probably another Mister Coffee or a Krups, I’ve owned both and only had problems with Mister Coffee, but they always work for about three years, making four shots of espresso every morning....
