Answer:	No it does not have auto shutoff. You cannot tell from the box or the manual (since the manual is generic and covers a large number of models). I called the manufacturer. They said if you cannot see a clock on the front of the coffee maker, then it won't have an auto shutoff. I sent it back since I know I will often forget to shut it off.

Answer:	This hot tea maker is designed to make delicious teas and to boil water for instant coffee, soups, etc. We do not advise making coffee in this brewer.

Answer:	I add my loose tea at the beginning of the cycle and it boils without issue. When it reaches the temp, it alerts me. Love it, no problems at all.

Answer:	8 is too tall. The travel mug that comes with it is 7.5 and just barely fits in. I brew in the one made for it and transfer it into another if I go out. Funny, the cover has to be off on the factory mug for it to fit into the maker. Weird...but I love the machine, so I put up with this little quirk!

Answer:	It brews until it is done. It does not shut off automatically. I always turn it off when i get my first cup and return it to the stand to keep warm.

Answer:	It does require filters. Either the metal mesh or paper. According to Harvard Health Publications, paper filters are more effective at eliminating diterpenes than permanent or cloth filters. Answer:	I use paper filters made from recycled paper. I grind my coffee in a Krups coffee grinder. I have a large mug so I put in 1 3/4 cups of water and I grind 2 1/3 measures of beans. This makes a large mug of good strong coffee.

There may be several reasons for coffee not to stay warm: Some units have an automatic shut-off feature. This is a safety feature that would automatically shut off your coffeemaker after 1-4 hours, depending on the model. Make sure that the unit hasn't been running longer than this time. The unit may require cleaning to remove mineral deposits that build up over time and cause coffee to brew cooler than normal. If your unit has a thermal decanter, make sure that it is clean and that the lid is kept closed. The thermal decanter should keep coffee warm for 2 to 4 hours after brewing.

Answer:	I don't know... I just wash mine by hand.
Question:	Is there a button on the lid to the carafe to release the coffee or does the lid have to be unscrewed
Answer:	I believe it is. I think on the description it will show which ones are compatible. I have an older bunn not one of those fancy ones. My basket is round and if your basket has a "V" shape I do not think it will work. I hope this is helpful.

Answer:	I don’t think so. Mine is mounted right next to the hose connection. On the side of my house.
Question:	How is the carafe lined - with glass or metal
Answer:	The holder is made of cast iron and listed as "Rust resistant and made with heavy duty metal." My holder is still coated and I don't think would not rust unless the coating gets chipped or scratched. It seems fairly durable. However, the phrase was "rust resistant." My holder arrived with no chips or scratches.
