Answer:	You could brew the coffee or espresso grounds without the ice and then add milk, but this is made to dispense into the tumbler (included) to make iced coffee so I wouldn't recommend.

Answer:	1500W is another way to measure amps 1000w is about 10AMP S0 1500W = OR rounds 15AMPS So should work good directly on to the wall what I wouldn't recommend is do never upgrade the braker to a higher number than the electric lines are made to support ex if a 12G cable it's being factory made to it's 20 AMP HIGHEST capacity. Then I will use a 15 AMP BREAKER for regular use and higher safety or as the wire indicates the highest supported amperage that's the highest supported braker amperage that should be used. Wherever it's ok or not, most of people uses cord extensions to connect to. Which is highly risk of fire due to the high electrical flow consumed by electric heaters. If you use the should use a 20 AMP rated cord extension if posible with it's own auto circuit breaker NOTE: "Not recommended" to use cord extensions for electric heaters

Question:	What's the trick to detaching the filter? I have given it a small twist but it won't release and I don't want to break it
Answer:	I agreen it is confusing. And the materials I received said different things as well as far as the different size coffee's it can make. I received a quick reference that said 3 sizes and the full size manual said 5. My welcome box of coffee came with all five different sizes and they have all worked in the machine. I haven't measured the tank but it fairly tall although I'm thinking by the amount of cups of coffee I got before having to refill, it's probably a 40 oz. I hope this helps.
Question:	How do you clean the filter? I heard coffee grounds down the sink can lead to a drain clog and the directions state to avoid using a brush to clean it
Answer:	No. This will not work with "classic pods". This is a new style machine that uses the new "Vertuo" pods. The new pods have a bar code which tells the machine how much water to use per pod. There are several drink sizes available for this machine, from a shot (about an ounce), up to the alto (14oz.)

Answer:	Yes if you go to eBay and type in Nespresso replacement parts there's two pages there's five or six people selling that lid. There's also someone selling the entire frother. Make sure you have the model number of the frother cuz there's several different types. There are model numbers for the frontier 3193, 3194, 3593, 3594.

Question:	When do you add infuser? do you put infuser in after 32 ounces or after 3/4 full? thanks. the instructions say to add 32 ounces and to fill 3/4 full
Answer:	Actually, I pour the first 16 ounces through the infuser, over the grounds. I like to "bloom" the grounds first. I just hold the infuser in the pitcher, and pour the water with my other hand. Then I add the second 16 ounces, and add the infuser. The 32 ounces only fills the pitcher 3/4 full. It leaves enough room for water displacement when the infuser is added.
Question:	The suggested 28 tbsp coffee almost filled up the filter thingy - some grounds were even dry after sitting. What measurement works best
Answer:	I have the 2 quart pitcher and the instructions say 28-32 tablespoons or 2 cups of coffee for cold brew. I was confused at first and looking at the wrong directions and used only 1 cup. The coffee was drinkable but it was not as concentrated as it should be. Also, the instructions say to put it on it's side in the refrigerator which I didn't do the first time..
Question:	Can you use this to make ice tea? it seems the same as the Takeya ice tea maker but with a different colored top
Answer:	It's not the same filter. The coffee maker uses an ultra-fine mesh filter, while the iced tea maker uses one that is not as fine. We also recommend using two filters - one for coffee and one for tea to ensure that you get the best taste from each beverage.

Add 14-16 tablespoons of your favorite medium roast, coarsely ground coffee to the infuser, then twist into lid.

Brew

Add 32 ounces of cold, filtered water to the Takeya pitcher, fill 3/4 full, then lower infuser into water.

Question:	Can this be set to brew a cup when it is set to turn on in the morning?? So the cup of coffee is ready and warm when I get out of bed in the morning

Question:	Not touchscreen? Why the step back
Answer:	It's really not needed. I own a K575, which has a touch screen, and I think that this is much simpler. Plus no touchscreen to dirty up with fingerprints. This machine is simpler, and I believe that's one of its selling points. Should one really need to be choose a wallpaper for the screen of their coffee maker too? On the other hand, if you want to be able to tell the time by looking at your coffee maker, something you can easily do with several of the Keurig 2.0 machines, though the K-Elite has a digital time display, it can only be viewed by looking down on the machine from above. So if that's important to you this machine might not be a good choice.
Question:	Will the k-elite machine accept non-branded (not marked keurig) k-cups, and make coffee using these generic non-branded k-cups
Answer:	Yes! This new Keurig machine is not a "2.0" Keurig. It does not have any DRM to prevent you from using whatever k-cup you desire. This machine is very reminiscent of the older Breville BKC700XL machine, except it provides separate button for each cup size plus it has options for "iced coffee", strong brew, and high-altitude brew.
Question:	What are the differences between K-Elite vs K
Answer:	I own both of he machines you're asking about. Differences are: The K575 is a "Keurig 2.0" machine, so it uses an optical detector to prevent you from using non-licensed k-cups. The K575 has a larger reservoir. The K575 has the ability to us the Keurig carafe, as well as the larger pods (which sounds like an advantage, but good luck finding those larger k-cup pods anywhere except the web). The K575 has a color digital display. The K-Elite has a high-altitude brew setting, is a much simpler machine, and seems to be built rock-solid. Of the two machines, I much prefer the K-Elite. It is smaller and a little more quiet than the K575. Plus without the DRM stuff it's simpler internally. In my opinion it is probably the best Keurig machine for home use built to date. And if you shop around you may be able to buy this unit for as low as $125, much less than I've ever seen the K575.

Question:	Cold brew tastes watered down after 24 hrs. What did I do wrong
Answer:	Are you using enough coffee grounds (I put in 14 tablespoons per pitcher full of water and then have to add water to my glass when using or it’s too strong)? Brewing for at least 24 hours in fridge? Not too rough a grind, at least medium grind and not too fine or it goes through filter.
Question:	Do you Diluate it with water after its steeped for a day or two when serving? Or serve as is
Answer:	You put your coffee grounds in the filter screen that comes with your Primula. You then fill with water and let it steep for 24 hours or longer. I stir the grounds in the middle of the brew time and throughout periodically for a good strong brew. Make sure the pot is full with water to the rim. I hope this helps you.
Question:	Does the top make an airtight seal? Like is it twist to pour? Thanks
Answer:	The lid fits very snug on the top and you can twist it so that it pours nicely, there are holes for the coffee to come out. But if it is tipped over the coffee will run out, so it is not totally airtight. I do Love this cold brew coffee maker very much. Hope that helps.
Question:	Do you pour all the water into the grounds, or just the first 2 cups, then the rest into the carafe
Answer:	You pour all of the water slowly over the grounds. You start with the two cups to moisten the grounds. Then add the rest of the water until the pot is filled to the top of the glass “window.” Be sure that you use about a cup of “cold brew” coffee grounds, which are coarser than regular coffee grounds. And I use a chop stick to very carefully stir the grounds a couple of times during the 24 hour brewing process. The coffee is awesome! We love this brewer!

Question:	Can you use a standard wide-mouth mason jar plastic lid while brewing and then switch to the flip top lid for storage
Answer:	After one wash it makes it a bit easier. I also had trouble with detaching at first, but if you grab it firmly and twist while holding the top it should come off. Try washing it first. There is no trouble after the first time detaching. Also, you can email the owner who is very kind and will help you.
Question:	Would the coffee flavor hold up if you froze fresh concentrate in ice cube trays? That would add a new level of convenience to this thing for sure
Answer:	Dear Customer, thanks for your question. Regarding the cleaning, holding the filter by plastic frame, please gently twist it to remove from the lid, then unscrew the filter cap. Question:	Does the lid fit onto the jug without the infuser

Question:	Does this work with coffee grounds that are not coarse
Answer:	The flavor depends on which grounds you use. Expect it to turn out 3 times stronger than a regular brewed cup of coffee & use dark roasts for best results. In this put 1 1/2 cups grounds (buy beans & set grinder to largest size - I use a paper place to create a "funnel" to pour grounds into the filter) first then add 6 cups of water poured into the grounds to wet them. (4 cups water to 1 cup grounds) Shake a bit a few times during the 20 hr brewing period. I brew mine on the counter, some put it in the fridge. I take it a step further to remove very fine bits using a coffee carafe with filter holder & coffee filter (Cuisinart filter holder sits nicely in place on carafe). This removes the tiny "grit" left. You can use any way you'd like. Dilute for a cup of smooth tasting coffee (this takes out the acidity & bitterness) or use to create cold drinks & more. Many possibilities with this! It makes some awesome tasting coffee!
Question:	Are all components dishwasher safe
Answer:	160 microns is approximately 90 U. S. Mesh or Roughly .006" The smaller the micron number, the smaller the size hole. The LARGER the mesh number, the smaller the hole. A 600 U. S. mesh is about 20 microns or .0008" A normal size water pre-filter is about 20 microns.
Question:	What are the product dimensions (height including lid, and diameter at base)? Trying to figure out if this will fit in my fridge
Answer:	I make it in the evening and let it sit out until I go to bed. Then I put it in the fridge, continuing to let it steep throughout the night. I remove the grounds in the morning, pour a cup and store the leftover in the fridge.
