Answer:	You could brew the coffee or espresso grounds without the ice and then add milk, but this is made to dispense into the tumbler (included) to make iced coffee so I wouldn't recommend.

Answer:	Just FYI. BPA free is great.... but it's worth knowing what's being used in it's place.

Answer:	Actually, I pour the first 16 ounces through the infuser, over the grounds. I like to "bloom" the grounds first. I just hold the infuser in the pitcher, and pour the water with my other hand. Then I add the second 16 ounces, and add the infuser. The 32 ounces only fills the pitcher 3/4 full. It leaves enough room for water displacement when the infuser is added.
Question:	The suggested 28 tbsp coffee almost filled up the filter thingy - some grounds were even dry after sitting. What measurement works best
Answer:	I have the 2 quart pitcher and the instructions say 28-32 tablespoons or 2 cups of coffee for cold brew. I was confused at first and looking at the wrong directions and used only 1 cup. The coffee was drinkable but it was not as concentrated as it should be. Also, the instructions say to put it on it's side in the refrigerator which I didn't do the first time..
Question:	Can you use this to make ice tea? it seems the same as the Takeya ice tea maker but with a different colored top
Answer:	It's not the same filter. The coffee maker uses an ultra-fine mesh filter, while the iced tea maker uses one that is not as fine. We also recommend using two filters - one for coffee and one for tea to ensure that you get the best taste from each beverage.

Add 14-16 tablespoons of your favorite medium roast, coarsely ground coffee to the infuser, then twist into lid.

Brew

Add 32 ounces of cold, filtered water to the Takeya pitcher, fill 3/4 full, then lower infuser into water.

Answer:	1500W is another way to measure amps 1000w is about 10AMP S0 1500W = OR rounds 15AMPS So should work good directly on to the wall what I wouldn't recommend is do never upgrade the braker to a higher number than the electric lines are made to support ex if a 12G cable it's being factory made to it's 20 AMP HIGHEST capacity. Then I will use a 15 AMP BREAKER for regular use and higher safety or as the wire indicates the highest supported amperage that's the highest supported braker amperage that should be used. Wherever it's ok or not, most of people uses cord extensions to connect to. Which is highly risk of fire due to the high electrical flow consumed by electric heaters. If you use the should use a 20 AMP rated cord extension if posible with it's own auto circuit breaker NOTE: "Not recommended" to use cord extensions for electric heaters

Question:	Can this be set to brew a cup when it is set to turn on in the morning?? So the cup of coffee is ready and warm when I get out of bed in the morning

Answer:	It's really not needed. I own a K575, which has a touch screen, and I think that this is much simpler. Plus no touchscreen to dirty up with fingerprints. This machine is simpler, and I believe that's one of its selling points. Should one really need to be choose a wallpaper for the screen of their coffee maker too? On the other hand, if you want to be able to tell the time by looking at your coffee maker, something you can easily do with several of the Keurig 2.0 machines, though the K-Elite has a digital time display, it can only be viewed by looking down on the machine from above. So if that's important to you this machine might not be a good choice.
Question:	Will the k-elite machine accept non-branded (not marked keurig) k-cups, and make coffee using these generic non-branded k-cups
Answer:	Yes! This new Keurig machine is not a "2.0" Keurig. It does not have any DRM to prevent you from using whatever k-cup you desire. This machine is very reminiscent of the older Breville BKC700XL machine, except it provides separate button for each cup size plus it has options for "iced coffee", strong brew, and high-altitude brew.
Question:	What are the differences between K-Elite vs K
Answer:	I own both of he machines you're asking about. Differences are: The K575 is a "Keurig 2.0" machine, so it uses an optical detector to prevent you from using non-licensed k-cups. The K575 has a larger reservoir. The K575 has the ability to us the Keurig carafe, as well as the larger pods (which sounds like an advantage, but good luck finding those larger k-cup pods anywhere except the web). The K575 has a color digital display. The K-Elite has a high-altitude brew setting, is a much simpler machine, and seems to be built rock-solid. Of the two machines, I much prefer the K-Elite. It is smaller and a little more quiet than the K575. Plus without the DRM stuff it's simpler internally. In my opinion it is probably the best Keurig machine for home use built to date. And if you shop around you may be able to buy this unit for as low as $125, much less than I've ever seen the K575.

Question:	I received my tea maker today and the indicator light won't turn on, but the base gets hot, anyone else have this issue
Answer:	It probably works. The light on mine does work, but it's gotta be in a dark corner for me to see it on. In any case, unplug it after it's done working, after 10-12 minutes or so. To better steep tea in this device, bend two jumbo paper clips so they lie flat in the tea bucket but stick down through the little hole 1/2 inch or so. This enables hot water to back up in the tea bucket, and tea bags actually steep. Otherwise, the hole is too large so the hot water runs out quickly, wetting the tea bags but not really steeping them. With this "hack", she's a great tea-maker that takes up minimal counter space.

Answer:	Mine works, but once in awhile it's already on when I plug it in, so I just let it do what it needs and then it turns back off and when I turn it on again it works fine.

Question:	Cold brew tastes watered down after 24 hrs. What did I do wrong
Answer:	Are you using enough coffee grounds (I put in 14 tablespoons per pitcher full of water and then have to add water to my glass when using or it’s too strong)? Brewing for at least 24 hours in fridge? Not too rough a grind, at least medium grind and not too fine or it goes through filter.
Question:	Do you Diluate it with water after its steeped for a day or two when serving? Or serve as is
Answer:	You put your coffee grounds in the filter screen that comes with your Primula. You then fill with water and let it steep for 24 hours or longer. I stir the grounds in the middle of the brew time and throughout periodically for a good strong brew. Make sure the pot is full with water to the rim. I hope this helps you.
Question:	Does the top make an airtight seal? Like is it twist to pour? Thanks
Answer:	The lid fits very snug on the top and you can twist it so that it pours nicely, there are holes for the coffee to come out. But if it is tipped over the coffee will run out, so it is not totally airtight. I do Love this cold brew coffee maker very much. Hope that helps.
Question:	Do you pour all the water into the grounds, or just the first 2 cups, then the rest into the carafe
Answer:	You pour all of the water slowly over the grounds. You start with the two cups to moisten the grounds. Then add the rest of the water until the pot is filled to the top of the glass “window.” Be sure that you use about a cup of “cold brew” coffee grounds, which are coarser than regular coffee grounds. And I use a chop stick to very carefully stir the grounds a couple of times during the 24 hour brewing process. The coffee is awesome! We love this brewer!

Answer:	It’s manual just remove the top cover and pour the water in it.
Question:	Can I brew coffee and transport to a different location and just turn on the keep warm function upon arrival to destination
Answer:	I wasn't aware it had a keep warm function. I'd check it, but it's at my church kitchen. But I've never seen a button or anything that said "keep warm".
Question:	Does anyone have a problem with the temperature? It is lukewarm at best
Answer:	It definitely has a problem in its heating regulator. It will not keep coffee hot like it should. Only six months old! We are replacing it with a different unit because this one is getting thrown out.

Answer:	Global standard is 5-6oz per cup of coffee, only the us thinks its 8 oz, so it's likely a 150 oz carafe

Answer:	I don't know about that. You might have something around the house that will work well. Tupperware top maybe etc. :)

Answer:	use one tbsp., the small measuring spoon, for each of the large spoons of kernels. Basically one to one. Also use colored coconut oil and flavocol for the best popcorn ever!!

Answer:	I brew mine 24-72 hours, but there’s not a lot of difference in that range. Certainly no less than 12 though unless you don’t mind it coming out like regular coffee

Answer:	I have used both (me grinding the beans & the coffee already ground in the bags). I like the Dark roast the best for cold brew. M.V.

Answer:	This is a great brewer. I mix it up and let it sit on the kitchen counter for 24 hours. Once done brewing, I remove coffee grounds and put the brewer in the refrigerator. For my drink, I dilute with a little water, add 1/2 and 1/2 and half a pack of Sweet -n-Low for a 20oz drink. I use Starbucks "Kenya" coffee with a course ground. You can always adjust to your personal taste.

Answer:	We are happy to assist you with your inquiry. To descale this system you can use a white vinegar and water mixture or any descaling solution designed to clean coffee machines.
Question:	How do you make cappuccino and lattes using this machine? Do you use regular coffee grounds or espresso
Answer:	We are happy assist you with your inquiry. We recommend using the Specialty Brew. This will brew a super-rich concentrate of 4 ounces allowing you to make coffee-based drinks like cappuccinos and lattes. You can use regular coffee grounds for this.
Question:	Can you use it under a wall cabinet? The ads show it on a kitchen counter under a cabinet similar to ours
Answer:	I have mine under a kitchen cabinet on my counter. I love it. I can take the water reservoir off to fill and I can remove the filter basket without moving the coffee maker out from under the cabinet.
Question:	Can this machine also make Epresso Coffee
Answer:	It isn't espresso because it isn't made under pressure, but it does have a "specialty" mode that is calibrated to make a drink that TASTES like espresso. And it gets good reviews, even from pour-over snobs. But it is technically not espresso.
