Answer:	No. they are plastic inside. I have been using mine for over six months now almost every day and it has held up very well. Does not leak.... yet!

Question:	Can you just brew water
Answer:	Sure can. Just pretend you put a pod in and use product as usual.. The hot water comes through as usual.
Question:	what size Paper filter
Answer:	It does not use filter paper. It has a reusable "permanent" filter and that is my biggest issue with this machine. The permanent filter allows some fine grounds to pass through and the filter would likely overflow if you added filter paper to it to eliminate this problem. This is true even though I set my coffee mill to a coarser setting, thinking that would eliminate the problem. It helped just a bit. I wish they had included a filter holder, but you could cut out the mesh of the permanent filter and make your own (cut to size) filter paper. I have not tried this yet but may later. Right now I just am careful to not drink the coffee to the bottom of the cup as the sediment is rather nasty. The only other alternative would be to filter the coffee before drinking which seems to make the point of a large cup coffee maker inconvenient rather than 'just right'.
Question:	Can you add milk instead of water in the tank for richer coffee
Answer:	Rather than using milk in the brewer, and risk ruining your coffeemaker, if you like a richer taste, buy a small carton of real whipping cream and add to your coffee after brewing instead. Coffee with real 100% cream versus milk or half and half is truly a gourmet experience, and is zero carbs, so it's keto-friendly as well. A little bit of 100% whipping cream goes a long way in your cup of coffee, so you can adjust the amount as desired. That would be my suggestion to try. :)

Answer:	We only use the single serve side and it makes a great cup of coffee! I like the design since there is no guess work in how full it is going to fill your cup. You fill your cup with the amount of water you want, pour it in the machine, and push the button. I use a 16oz cup and it fills it full. The reservoir is emptied every time you use it so no mold/bacteria problem either!
Question:	Can it use k cups
Answer:	I take the k cup and open it pour the amount that’s in there in the coffee pot single side and brews just fine. Perfect measure.

Answer:	The Bunn manual says it uses a 34 watt heater to keep the tank warm. This will consume less than one kilowatt-hour per day. Depending on what you pay for electricity, it will likely be in the neighborhood of ten cents a day, or a penny a cup for one pot a day. As others have said, well worth it for the convenience! And if you consider keeping water hot a waste of energy, think about your hot water tank, which is probably 50 gallons or more compared to the 50 ounces in a Bunn pot.
Question:	Does this model have auto shut off
Answer:	No, it does not have an auto shut off for the warming plate. It is manual only. However, as it is a Bunn, the heating element never shuts off since it is always immersed in water. The only time you turn off the heating element is when you are going to be away for more than a few days. This why it is truly instant coffee. Hope this helps.

Answer:	They have 4 manufacturing facilities in the USA and 1 in Canada. But they have warehouses and offices in other countries. All I could see on it was "Assembled in America" so I'm sure the parts came from other countries.

Answer:	You say the water is hot, but the burner isn't. That sounds like you have the model with the built in water resevoir. If so, the switch (lighted) that controls the warmer is probably bad. Simple to replace. It pops out, swap the wires to a new one, pop it back in.

Answer:	mine was a few years ago. It was the LAST USA coffee maker. Someone needs to call Bunn. Great people in Illinois, when I got a free new sprayhead. Try that with those other chinese call centers in India
Question:	I'm not comfortable with the reservoir being on at all times. If the reservoir is off, does it need to be filled and turned on before brewing a pot
Answer:	I'm buying this for one I had for many years that died. I only have coffee in the morning so I set a timer to heat the reservoir early enough to beat me up and have it shut off after you would have your last cup. A 5 hour window safely covers any possible time I have coffee. You can always plug in into a live socket on the occasion when you may have guests or want coffee at an unusual time. I just can't see heating water 24 hours a day. It has to be a good grounded timer that can handle the load of the coffee maker. A cheap timer made for a light isn't adequate or safe for a coffee maker. The timer I use is rated at 1875 W and the coffee maker's tank heater and stay warm heater is 900 W when both are activated. It is double the load of the coffee maker at maximum operating conditions. There are not expensive, probably $10-$12, do not skimp and chance burning your house down or worse.

Answer:	After speaking to corporate headquarters, the Bunn residential coffee makers: GR, BX, BT and SPEED BREW are all made in the USA. The NHS Velocity, in corporate wording is made "overseas", which I take means China since it is clearly written on the box as some of you have stated. If you have a different model, whether commercial or residential, and are curious to where it is manufactured, call the corporate headquarters. They are very helpful. 1-800-352-2866

Answer:	Joanne, I'm so sorry. I wish I could help you but I have no idea. Probably the gadgets on the unit and the price--maybe even when they were offered for sale. I don't know about much except that I LOVE A BUNN! It makes the best coffee and it makes it in 3 minutes, flat. I'm sure, knowing BUNN as I do, that anyone of them would be perfect for you. Sorry I cannot be more specific. I've had 3 different ones (I'm now 63 years old) and I hope I don't ever have to purchase anything but a BUNN!

Answer:	The Cuisinart features two separate reservoirs — one to brew a full pot of coffee & one for a single-serve cup. The two reservoirs mean that when you brew a pot, you aren’t using up all of the water from the single-serve reservoir — which is a plus. However both reservoirs are somewhat difficult to access. To answer your question, you don’t have to pour water in each time for the single-serve function, which is an improvement over some other dual coffee makers (like the Hamilton Flex Brew). The single-serve reservoir holds 40 oz — enough to brew three 10 oz cups or five 6 oz cups before refilling. (It requires a limited amount of water to remain in the reservoir to work properly.) For a larger reservoir, consider the Keurig K-Duo Plus, which features a 60-63 oz single reservoir. Hope that helps:)
