The SR540 is the newest addition to the SR family of coffee roasters. Roast capacity is 4 scoops, 120 grams. It has an improved control board. All adjustments are made with pushing the knob and turning to adjust the heat, fan, and time. It also features a real-time temperature read out. Answer:	This is a reliable basic roaster for small batches. Yes, you don't have computer interface, multiple temperature probes, airflow control or drum speed control. But you can produce very good small home batches. Without those features it's difficult to repeatedly produce the exact same roast but you can still get good results that are fairly close. I use a thermocouple with digital probe with motorized drum and record the time and temperature every 30 seconds for each roast. I vary the charge temperature according to the external temp and try to keep the air flow constant from batch to batch. Good little roaster.

Step 1, take 0.6-1.1lb of green coffee beans and put them in the roasting tray

Step 2, adjust the temperature to 140℃(284℉) , bake for 10 minutes

Step 3, adjust the temperature to 180℃(356℉) , bake for 8 minutes

Step 4, adjust the temperature to 210℃(410℉), bake for 10 minutes

The second

If you like dark roast, you can adjust the temperature to 240℃(464℉) and bake for about 25 minutes.

You can try both of the above methods to find the best baking method for you.

After roasting, if you don’t like the coffee chaff ,please pour the coffee beans into the coffee bean cooler to quickly cool the coffee beans.

Then store the cooled coffee beans in a glass jar.

Step 1:

• Plug cord into a 110V-120V AC electric outlet only.
• Turn the switch OPEN, turn on 100℃ to warm the roastering pan about 30s.
• Add the amount of coffee bean you wanted, spread the coffee beans evenly over the roasting pan. (TIPS: The best roasting bean capacity is 300g/0.16lb-500g/1.1lb).

Step 2:

• Cover the Lid, adjust the temperature to 180°, and the stirring rod will rotate and stir the beans evenly.
• And the first crack will happen at about 20mins later.

Step 3:

• After the first crack, adjust the temperature to 200°, and 5mins later for the second crack.

Step 4:

• You can continue to turn the temperature higher after the second crack for the french roast, or you can finish the roasting as you like.
• Then turn the switch OFF and unplug cord from wall outlet.

How to use it?

Turn the automatic coffee roaster 110v on and set the temperature.

1. Add the right amount of green coffee bean maximum of 750g.(Please note the optimal amount of roasted coffee beans is 300g-500g.)

Before first use: wipe the glass with a damp cloth, wipe the glass inside and outside, wait for the water drops to dry before use. Do not submerge the coffee roaster. To reduce the risk of shock, do not soak the coffee roaster base.

One sachet is good for a single cup, steep to strength, but the standard 2 minute does very nicely with this tea. Indeed I have not found an equal for this earl grey period. Beware the harney k cups, I find them over bergamotized. But these...yes...these are perfect
