Answer:	Yes it will, not 100% perfect, as the grinds are not 100% consistent (as in, some particles are different sizes from others), especially if you loosen it too much and make it too coarse. But if you veer toward the finer end of the coarse scale, the grinds get more consistent. This is due to the conical burr mechanism of this device, which is primarily for expresso machine or stovepot. Answer:	The mill from Digital Pen is a FAKE. I also received it but it came in a brown box with no bean lid or jar lid and had no mention of Hario. I was suspicious and ordered another from Amazon (not just fulfilled by Amazon). The real mill came in a Hario box with the Hario name on the handle, glass, and mill. The plastic, ceramic, glass and metal details are different and of better quality with the real Hario. Beware of this seller.

Answer:	Dunno where it’s made, I’d guess china. It grinds well, very even. But it makes a mess. The mesh point between the ground canister and the grinder isn’t snug enough and grounds go everywhere each time you take it out to put grounds into coffee maker. If I had a do-over I’d buy a more expensive model, hopefully one that was manufacturer more precisely.

Answer:	I used to have this problem with another brand of grinder. I used a long narrow strip of Al foil stuck in the ground coffee container of the unit and the other end lying on a damp sponge or towel on the counter. This disperses the static electricity and largely eliminates the problem. YMMV

Question:	Is there any way to get a consistent coarse grind? Ive tried coarse and medium and it still creates too fine of grinds and clogs my steel filters
Answer:	The grinder is ceramic and there is a dial to adjust the grind to what ever you want. I have been using this grinder now for about six months daily and it is consistently the same coursness. I have yet to have to take it apart and deep clean ot. However, I am grinding for a French press, so I use a fairly course grind. It may clog up more if you require a more fine grind.

Answer:	It does take a really long time to grind. I love espresso but I wish I had bought an electric one. The last thing I want to do first thing in the morning is grinding coffee for 3 mins just to make enough for 2 cups. Not a bad product but I feel like it might be more for a connoisseur or someone with more patience.

Answer:	Ok, when you take apart the top grinder thing, which you'll easily figure out and if you get confused, take a photo of it the way it is put together properly if you need that reference, but when you take apart the top grinder, the very last metal part, that looks like a gear with about 8 notches on it, flat, it looks like something maybe that you would associate with steampunk, anyway, you turn that metal flat thing with the 8 or so notches on it. You turn it clockwise for fine grounds, too small for a French press....or....you turn it counter clock wise to make more course grounds that will work better for a French press. If you have about 5 threads showing above that flat metal thing with about 8 notches on it, on the one we used, this model, it made perfect course coffee for the French press. That setting for the larger/course grounds also grinds much faster. This is absolutely NOT hard to grind with and does not make your arm tired. You're not doing it forever. It's SUPER EASY! I've never had a manual (none electric) coffee grinder before. I figured they were kind of lame but OH MY GOSH it is INCREDIBLE. We got this same exact one as a gift for someone and they absolutely loved it. That long spoon that comes with it, the long brown one, about 4 of those scoops make a fantastic full standard coffee pot using a French Press...I think they are about 1 liter or 1.5 liters. This grinder is very high quality.

Answer:	I've been using it with my Aeropress and a drip machine at work. Works great with the Aeropress, you can fine tune the heck out of the grind and it stays even, much more so than with a blade grinder. I paid for my grinder, but have been invited to Amazon Vine program and just recieved a french press to try out and just brewed my first batch using Nani's San Francisco blend beans with the OXO Brew on 13 (middle of coarse settings). I've been going keto with my diet, so heavy whiping cream and no sugar... tastes really good. I think if you plan on making good coffee, this is worth the investment. Wow, for a first shot at using a french press... that came out good.

Answer:	We’ve had this grinder for a couple of years and do struggle with static cling around the hopper. We also have found this model so hard to clean that today it actually went in the trash - not because it quit grinding but between the clinging mess and the difficulty cleaning it, both of which cause lingering stray grounds all over the place we had just had enough. There’s got to be a better way. And by the way although I can’t compare the noise to any other models, I can say this one is loud enough to drive the dog and the toddlers from the room.

Answer:	Yes. Amazon is overrun these days by fake reviews and it's only slightly better if they disclose they received a free product in exchange (as I do think a reviewer's time is worth something). I am now in the habit of going to a 3rd party, like Fakespot, to see if fake reviews are influencing overall rating of product. As of March 2019, Fakespot gave this product a "C" rating. I also like to read some of the middle grades to see what people like / hate about a product because most balanced reviews are going to have both positive and negative things to say.

All I would point out is that on the finest setting, for brews like Turkish and Espresso, it grinds quite a bit slower than on the coarser settings, so if you drink Ibrik only, you may be better off with an electric coffee grinder which grinds a lot faster, but it can definitely grind fine enough :)

Question:	Is the grind adjustment calibrated so I can quickly switch between grinds? Also, how much coffee does the top hopper hold
Answer:	I’m not familiar with the powder grind you are talking about. You adjust the coarseness at the bottom of the grinder. It will get pretty fine. If your looking for a powder consistency then I would try an electric coffee grinder or food processor.
Question:	Can the mill fit a regular mouth mason jar
Answer:	I wouldn't say it sucks, but I certainly wouldn't use it to grind beans for large pots. The grind is a bit coarse and it takes a while to go through a full cylinder of beans. My daughter uses it to grind beans for cold brew - about 4 cups at a time. It is quite compact and easy for travel purposes. She had taken it camping and to college.
Question:	Are the jars plain or do they say " Mixpresso " on them
Answer:	On the main product page, near the bottom. Personally...it’s such an inexpensive item that I’ll just buy another one if need be. Easier than dealing with a warranty.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Following the recommended setting of 3.5-4, a single pour over could take about a minute. That will be 57 seconds per 10 grams.
Question:	I'm concerned if the coarsness setting could accidentally change while you hold your grinder in hands without attaching it to the table
Answer:	it certainly can and I've done it. It depends on whether you're holding the grinder in its "waist". If you can, grip the base. Also, even though I've altered the setting, truth be told, I can't tell the difference when I look at the ground beans.
Question:	It appears that this grinder has plastic components. Does it
Answer:	The grind container at the bottom is glass. The inside walls of the top part appears to be plastic. This has a solid, quality feel to it. That being said, I have only had it two days :). First morning was for a Moka brew and grind setting was 1.5, this morning was a french press with a setting of 8. Very consistent grind on both counts.
Question:	How many inches around is this in the smallest point? I have small hands and one I have now is hard for me to hold on to
Answer:	You can avoid using your hands to hold on to it. The grinder comes with a adhesive pad on the bottom. Just place it on your countertop and push on it firmly. That should give the grinder enough stability so that you need to hold it tightly with your hand. The adhesive will eventually wear, however.

Answer:	Yes you can! I think the smaller container is for a smaller batch/single serve. I usually use the larger container for a larger brew.
Question:	Has anyone tried grinding flax seed in this? Results
Answer:	Why would you grind flax seed in a coffee grinder?
Question:	Is one full chamber equal to one cup of coffee? So if I’m trying to make several cups, I need several chambers s worth of ground beans
Answer:	You do not need many beans to get a decent brew. I usually pour approximately 1/4 cup of beans into the grinding chamber which, after grinding on the second or third arrow mark, makes about 2 1/2 to 3 cups of coffee. Will want to adjust based on how weak v. strong you like your java. Good luck!
Question:	I don’t want my ground spices to taste like coffee, so how do I clean the black part where I put the spices
Answer:	But another grinder. Don't mess up your coffee grinder by using it for anything else.

Question:	How do I remove the bottom portion from the top? I tried to unscrew it and then pulling it apart. It's stuck
Answer:	I tried it on the standard mason jars I have and it's smaller in diameter - but I'm no expert on Mason jars - the jars I tried are about 3" openings whereas the opening on the grinder is about 2.25" (58mm) ID. So no match to the inventory of jars I have!
Question:	Where is this product manufactured
Answer:	Yup, it strikes me as a rather poor design. It allows the space between the outer and inner burrs to become larger or smaller on one side, changing the size of the grind. It also allows the inner and outer burrs to rub against each other, causing wear. I'm no expert on grinders but this is surely not how I'd design one. Though in practice the grinder works pretty well for fine grinding, which is what I use it for.Here's an optional bushing to improve the grinder's performance for course grinds. Answer:	The grinding plates are ceramic; the top hopper is plastic; the handle / adjuster is metal (most likely stainless steel). The bottom carafe is glass.
Question:	Just received mine and I cannot unscrew the top cylinder from the bottom cylinder. Any suggestions
