Answer:	No it would not work. The trough where the peppercorns (or flax or sea salt etc) get sucked in between the grinding surfaces is less than a quarter inch at the widest. Not even a coffee bean would fit much less a nutmeg. Sorry I have no suggestion for what else would work.

Answer:	Autumn, this is not the sweet, floral lavender scent that I expected it to be at all. I was disappointed and I never use it. I did not associate it with "medicinal or bug repelling scent", but it is definitely not the lavender scent I've known in colognes, lotions, body sprays, etc. all my life.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean? If the gounds cup is in place properly, there should be no way for coffee to spill out. One warning though. If you use flavored beans, they have oils on them that cause the grounds shoot to clog up quickly. Answer:	I just wanted to let everyone know that an email to Solofill was responded to promptly with the answer to my dilemma. It seems that the grinding assembly itself was in desperate need of a cleaning, and the instructions weren't on the sheet I got with the machine. I followed the instuctions and the grinder is working like a champ again! This is what they sent me;1. Unplug the grinder from the power outlet.2. Empty all the coffee bean from the hopper.3. Reach inside the hopper and turn the black knob CLOCKWISE until you hear a click sound to release this cover knob.4. Once the cover knob is removed, turn the grinder upside down to empty all the remaining coffee from inside. Use the provided brush to clean out the bean making sure nothing is stuck inside.5. Put the knob back by turning Counter Clock Wise to lock in place (make sure to hear a click at the end).
