2 best pizza pan size
Pizza pan size can vary depending on the type of pizza you want to make and your personal preferences. Here are some common sizes and considerations related to pizza pans:
Standard Pizza Pan Sizes:
- Small: Small pizza pans are typically around 8 to 10 inches in diameter. These are ideal for personal-sized pizzas or small appetizer pizzas.
- Medium: Medium pizza pans range from 12 to 14 inches in diameter. They are suitable for making medium-sized pizzas that can serve 2 to 3 people.
- Large: Large pizza pans can be 16 inches or more in diameter. These are best for making large pizzas that can serve 3 to 4 or more people.
Deep-Dish Pizza Pans:
- Deep-dish pizza pans are typically smaller in diameter but have taller sides to accommodate the thicker, deeper-dish style of pizza.
Rectangular and Square Pizza Pans:
- Some pizza pans come in rectangular or square shapes. These are often used for making Sicilian or Detroit-style pizzas.
Individual-Sized Pans:
- For making individual-sized pizzas, you can use mini pizza pans or even pizza stones or baking sheets.
Crust Thickness:
- The size of the pan can also affect the thickness of the pizza crust.A larger pan will result in a thinner crust because the dough is stretched out more.
Pan Material:
- Pizza pans can be made from various materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-stick coatings. The material can affect the baking time and crispiness of the crust.
When choosing a pizza pan size, consider the number of people you plan to serve and the type of pizza you want to make. Keep in mind that personal preferences for crust thickness and style can also influence your choice.

Question: | Is this dishwasher safe |
Answer: | Non stick surfaces say they are dishwasher safe but it eventually ruins the non stick components and should be hand washed. It’s also too large for my dishwasher :) |
Question: | Can you make the pizza from a kit with wet dough directly on the pan or best to make it and then transfer ot the pan |
Answer: | First make the pizza dough in a large bowl. Second roll it out on a table (with flour) and then place it on the pizza pan. Then add your favorite sauce, cheese, toppings. DO NOT put wet dough on the pizza pan. Question: | I need to know what the diameter of all the small holes |
