Answer:	Yes it is! But I’ve found it easiest to simply wash in the sink. Because it’s silicone it will bend over in the dishwasher and will hold water. Answer:	Yes, one cup of rice is fine. We might be able to cook only half of a cup but honestly I never tried it my self. The other answers are pretty much accurate. We can cook up to 6 cups and the quality is great, especially for the price. Whenever it's done cooking, make sure you either keep using the "keep warm" feature or just stir the rice up at the beginning so it wont' stick to the bottom and surrounding area of the cooking container. Question:	How can something steel reinforced be microwaveable? Can anyone explain that
Answer:	The lid is vented and designed to release moisture. When water is heated it evaporates. So place a lid on the rice that isn’t vented to retain the moisture and maintain the humidity in your bowl. Or wrap the lid in cellophane preferable restaurant quality because it can handle up to 500* and sub zero temperatures. . This will essentially plug the hole and make more of a seal when you put the lid back on. This could be enough to maintain the humidity inside your cooker. Rice is a starch when you add water it will bloat. So you risk ending up with mushy rice and dry hard rice. Also fluff your rice with chopsticks or a fork, immediately after cooking completes, it will prevent the rice from drying in large chunks. Over fluffing rice will make it sticky and mushy
Question:	how to clean silicone muffin pans
Answer:	lots of steam does come out of the steam hole and it is supposed to do that. It does make a mess so we drape a thin tea towel - not folded over - across the top of the steamer and over the hole. While the towel does get damp, the mess is contained. The thinnest of the towel still allows for the steam to escape while keeping the surroundings relatively dry. Hope that helps.

Question:	What am i doing wrong? everything i make sticks
Answer:	No. The amount of time to cook the rice is much longer than the time required to steam vegetables. The vegetables would be mushy and overdone. Opening the cooker to retrieve the vegetables early may cause the rice to not cook properly.

Answer:	You will need to go directly to the Zojirushi web site to see if it lists a year. There is nothing on the cooker itself to indicate the year! Hope this helps.
Question:	are the silicone pans dishwasher safe
Answer:	Not sure i understand question. But to cook normal white rice set MENU arrow to "white/sushi" then press "START/Reheat". Takes about 1 hour. To reheat cold rice from the refrigerator, add just a tablespoon or so of water and press the "KEEP WARM/SELECTION" button. Very easy. Great rice cooker

Answer:	NL-AAC10: made in Japan (so it's more expensive), has a detachable cord, has no 'cake' menu setting, & beige plastic exterior color. Dimensions for 5.5 cup/1.0-Liter model (W x D x H) 10-1/2 x 14-5/8 x 8-5/8 inches.NS-TSC10: made in China (so it's less expensive), has a retractable cord, has a 'cake' menu setting, & stainless brown exterior color. Dimensions for 5.5 cup/1.0-Liter model (W x D x H) 10-1/8 x 14 x 8-1/2 inches.Both the NL-AAC and NS-TSC have a 'steam cook' menu setting & steamer basket, which seems uncommon among Zojirushi Fuzzy Logic rice cookers. Electrical Rating for both is 120 volts / 610 watts. I am leaning toward the NL-ACC myself, and I researched these models on the Zojirushi web site.
