what are the outside dimensions of this pan

Answer:

I've had this oxo 12" oven-safe almost (purchased here in Feb/2018) three years and now seeing little, pencil-point size flecks that are removed with a fingernail. I only hand wash (too big for DW) and only use Dawn with a dishbrush or softscrub sponge. I'm going to reach out to Oxo but may replace. I don't know what the material is but it can certainly enter the cooked food. Its a great pan for oven meals but I would expect this from something much older and usage longer.

It works really well for corn dodgers too and gets a good crisp lower crust.

How to make a Crème Brûlee

STEP:

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
2. Whisk the 4 cups cream, 6 egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Mix it all up until it gets nice and creamy.
3. Pour this mixture into Sweese ramekin dish.
4. Place the ramekins in a baking pan. Fill the baking pan with hot water, about halfway up the sides of the ramekins. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, checking every 10 minutes after 35-40 minutes.
5. Remove the ramekin dishes from the baking pan, refrigerate them at least 2 hours.
6. When ready to serve, sprinkle a thin layer of the light sugar on the top of each. Use a kitchen blowtorch to evenly melt and caramelize the sugar.

Question:	How should you clean the molds for the first time
Answer:	It’s simply a baking pan but with detail on the bottom. When you turn your baked goods out the detail is on the top of your baked goods You can use your Pan to bake anything you would in a normal pan. It’s a good sturdy pan. So yes you can. However, a brownie is simply a goey sunken Chocolate cake, so it has a tendency to rise then fall in the middle once cooled. When you turn these cakes out they have a tendency to be uneven and Have a sort of pie like shape to them. Which is part of the charm. I’ve not baked brownies in mine because for me, the shape of the brownies are part of their charm. What I’d say is: baking is fun and you get to eat the outcome anyway. So just try, then you’ll know if you like the look of them.
Question:	Just curious! exactly how big are these? are they the actual medium/large sizes needed or are they small~ can't find the right size

Question:	The description says they’re 1.26” in diameter and comments say they’re 2.5” in diameter. What am I missing
Answer:	Merry Christmas, that’s a good question. The answer is; it depends on the chosen heat setting and recipes. For instance, this tin turns out beautiful gingerbread cakes or as we call them in Our part of Yorkshire ”buns“ that can be decorated. You can also make really beautiful gingerbread/ shortbread (a thick, rich buttery Scottish crumbly biscuit which also cooks up a treat in this tin as long as you don’t make them too thick they turn out beautifully to and can also be decorated. If however, you would like to make roll out cookies I’d probably stick to a rolling pin and a cookie cutter.
