Answer:	I just measured one side of the donuts whole to other it about 3 inches. They are a perfect size. I use them all the time.

Answer:	Hi, Book Lover # 52. I made the doughnuts and they came out rounded. I think it's the baking powder or whatever rising ingredients are in your recipe. You don't need a second pan - just fill like a muffin pan. My recipe called for me to fill the holes 2/3 full. They came out really nice.

Answer:	You can make cake box donuts and they'll taste like donuts. One box cake mix and two cups applesauce stirred together creates easy baked donut batter. Lightly grease pan and preheat oven. Bake at 425F for 10-15 minutes or until donuts firmly spring back when pressed. Allow to sit in pan for 5 minutes before removing, it helps to have more than one of these pans to cut down on idle time. An easy glaze is to melt store bought frosting in the microwave and then drizzle, dip, or dunk. You can then glaze and add toppings if desired. For best results, add toppings while glaze is still warm.

Answer:	Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I bought a pair of 9" round Wilton Performance Pans in 2011 for my Aunt, who decorates cakes. These were tapered, which is not what she wanted. I looked around a little more and found 9" round Wilton Decorator Preferred pans that have straight walls. So you want the Decorator Preferred. What size do you need? It seems that Wilton has discontinued the 9" size.

Question:	I’m confused.. isn’t this pan for a tiny cake i. e. a smash cake? Comments I’m reading here have me thinking it’s for a 12” cake
Answer:	no it doesnt have any kind of non sticking coating but you have to grease and flour the pan so that the cake doesnot stick OR line with baking parchment paper.I find wilton pans very good.

Answer:	The sides are straight. They are what they advertise and in my humble opinion very decent cake pans provides that you use the non-stick spray they should be totally adequate.

Answer:	I never use coated pans so I can't specifically answer your question. No matter what, unless otherwise stated, any pan should be at the very least greased. Most will call for flour or corn meal as well. As far as these cake pans, I greased with shortening and floured the pans and had no problem getting cakes to come out.

Answer:	There are definitely only 2 pans. If you want 4, it's a good idea to order 2 sets because if you order 2 more later, and don't order the same brand, not all measurements are the same as in 6" wide for one brand is not the same as 6" or another.

Question:	What is the maximum oven temperature they are rated for
Answer:	I've never seen a specific rating for them but since most of the cakes/brownies, etc. that you bake don't need to be higher than 350 degrees, you're fine. I have used other Wilton pans to cook regular food on and my temp has been as high as 400 degrees. The highest most ovens go to is 500 which I know for sure that silicone pans can handle. If you plan to cook at anything higher than 375, I would recommend a glass pan as I know that aluminum pans sometimes warp at high temps (but they do flatten out when cool).
Question:	can this use in a microwave oven
Answer:	Hi Choi, No, these performance pans are made of aluminum which cause the microwave to spark with the possibility with fire occurring. You could consider making cupcakes in silicon molds in the microwave. There are also decorative paper baking cups which stand alone in the microwave without a cupcake tin. Many weddings are going to cupcakes which are placed on elegant stands or glass shelves. Thanks for the question.
