Question:	Are the silicone pads heat conductive
Answer:	They are hot when you take them out of the oven. It takes a little while to cool down after removing them from the cookie sheets. They cool down much faster then any cookie sheet. They work so much better than parchment paper, don’t turn brown like the paper. I used them over and over again while making Christmas Cookies. After Cooling, put the cookie dough on the pads, as soon as the oven was empty back in the cookie sheet and in the oven. It made cooking 6 dozen cookies faster because I did not wait for the cookie sheet to cool all the way down.
Question:	Are These ok to use on an induction cooktop to help pans from sliding
Answer:	These answers are wrong. Induction does work with silicon mats. You do need to have proper metal pans, but induction does conduct thru the silicon. Have been using them with success to minimize mess on cooktop and prevent scratching from bottom of pans. Would not use them on extreme high setting for a long time. But simmering and normal cooking work fine with a quality mat.
Question:	can you cut these to fit pan
Answer:	None of them apparently fit standard pans. I'm cutting one to find out if they can be cut. If you do before me, please let me know.

Answer:	I assume so since they are silicon, not plastic. I researched it and found this: “While not a “100% natural” material like rubber, food-grade silicone is a non-toxic polymer mostly made from silica (sand). Answer:	EVERYTHING is made in China.....so unless it states another country specifically, that would be my guess. "Made in China" is something they don't like to mention because of all the poor quality products made there. I'll still probably get this as I saw it used on the Six Sisters youtube cooking channel & they LOVED it. Life is a crap shoot.

Answer:	Yes. I made muffins and cupcakes with them and there was no sticking. Great product.
Question:	I was given these as a gift but haven't used them yet. Do you remove them from the cupcake before serving or do you serve them with jackets on
Answer:	I left one on while frosting a cupcake and it was very messy and the sleave is built very well and thick, but this makes it difficult to eat from. So I would remove them first.
Question:	The smell of silicone was so strong I couldn't stand it. I tried washing them but the smell is still there. Any suggestions
Answer:	Wash with baking soda and warm water and rinse and let dry. Then put them in a new plastic container with a lid, and place individually and upright, with 2 or 3 COTTON balls lightly soaked in vanilla extract. Keep them in container for 3 days and silicone smell should be gone!
Question:	Has anyone done the pinch test on these? Did it turn white-ish
Answer:	If it’s colored, it’s not pure silicone. It’s silicone with at minimum color added. The pinch test is not a scientific test, nor is it reliable.

Answer:	I would not recommend it especially in gas as the bottom can often get hotter than the mat recommends.

Answer:	Not sure why you would put a pan "over" it. You can put it on your pizza pan or stone up to 475 degrees. May not get bottom crisp though.

Answer:	There's no country of origin imprinted on the mat. It is identical to the brand sold in Bed Bath and Beyond, expect stamped with Amazon Basics logo instead. Given the simplicity of how you could make one, it could come from anywhere without concern for forced child labor (which I think is what prompts the question).

Answer:	I don't know, but I think that's a bad idea. The silicone is definitely non-stick, so I think you should transfer the baked item to a wood or plastic cutting board before cutting it.

Answer:	If that is aa tradional cook top I would say no. Not sure what a induction cook top is, oven use only

Answer:	Don’t cut it!! My Baking Sheets are WAAAY bigger than my Baking Pan/Sheet but it worked well for a frozen pizza in the oven, which happened to be a little bigger than my Baking Sheet!

Question:	Why do the directions say to put these pans in the oven at 350 before using them
Answer:	Before first use, wash new silicone pans in warm soapy water or pop in the dishwasher. After drying, condition them with a smear of cooking oil or non-stick baking spray and wipe off the excess. Only tips i found before first use

Answer:	It is non stick. I did use a cooking spray which worked great but it probably would work great without as well. I am happy with product.
