Answer: My board is a solid marble - it measures 16 inches by 20 inches and I just weighed it on my scale and it does weigh 22 lbs. Mine actually shipped free as I am a prime member. I can tell you that I use it all the time and although it was expensive compared to others what you have to know is that marble does not absorb odors, or bacteria as other porous boards would. It is great for rolling out dough, making fudge, cookies, etc. Because it is marble it is best not to cut too deep with a sharp knife on it. I love mine and would not trade it for everything. Marble lasts a lifetime - you'll never need to buy another board - ever!!! I have had mine probably about 3 - 4 years and use it on a daily basis. I also got the marble rolling pin and holder as well. I hope this helps you.

Answer: Yes, both sides are non-slip, and would be useful to put a cutting board on top. This is pretty large as it goes the full depth of my counter top, and wider on the sides. Worked really well to keep 99% of the flour off my counter with room left over for utensils. Depends how big your cutting board is whether you need this much coverage. Very happy with it myself.

Answer: Someone answered this on a similar product. This may or may not work for you and it would depend on exactly what you’re cooking. But, she set the cooking time to cook the shortest cooking time food first, them quick released the pressure and reset it to finish cooking the longer cooking time food. As said below, put the longer cooking time foods (meat) on the bottom closer to the heating element. I personally think trial and error will best help you. For example, set the time to cook meat and see if your sides were over cooked or not or if you’re okay with their texture. I did not think that instant pot made a 7-qt version, just the 3, 6, and the 8. If you actually have a 7-qt pot, I would purchase the set that is made to fit the 6-qt.
