Answer:	I am responding to the Regency Pastry Cloth. I don't have a mat. The weight of the dough I work with and using two pastry cloths layered on top of each other seems to be enough to keep the Pastry Cloths from moving on my counter.

Answer:	You can wash the cloth by hand in cold water but DO NOT put in a dryer . The cloth is plastic impregnated. It isn't best to machine wash the cloth but it can be done, though it will limit the service life. Overall, I advise washing as infrequently as you are comfortable with.

Answer:	Mine is 100% cotton fabric with wooden slats and metal edge pieces. The only plastic is the packaging. Happy Baking!

Answer:	I have a standard roller ( 1o 1/2" x 2") and it fits fine.its stretchable, so it can go a bit wider.As for the wood and metal component for the roller mat.I don't use, my mother never did either, and it just gets in the way. If you like it, use it but when you wash the cover, there's some (as George Castanza would say) "shrinkage" and it won't fit right-good reason to toss.I recommend it.

Answer:	As far as I can tell, there is no actual special coating. It is an extra heavy piece of cotton, and there is no coating on the rolling pin cover. The rolling pin cover was the reason why I bought the set. It fits my rolling pin perfectly.

Answer:	I no longer have the packaging, but I don't believe it's treated with anything. If you're asking what to treat it with, you simply rub dry flour into the material until it is completely saturated. You may need to add more flour during use, to prevent sticking. A word of caution about washing: wash only if necessary (ie, contamination). I put mine through a regular wash and dry, and small bits of flour clung to and were caked into the material after. I would suggest washing by hand and air drying.

Answer:	Some type of synthetic. NOT cloth! It works okay, but I preferred my old pastry cloth that was actually cloth. It's very stiff. I rolled it around my rolling pin to store. It did mostly get the folds to flatten somewhat.

Answer:	Yes you can. I use the borders as a guide to place cookie dough, etc. right next to border. It's the same material (all silicone), just a different color for added 'pizzaz' and/or useful if you want to distinguish goods with or without nuts, etc.
