Answer:	The filling is a special blend of pure cotton and polyester, that is breathable and retains its shape wash after wash. Because polyester doesn't shrink or change shape like cotton does, this blend is easier to wash and dry. The pillow can retain its shape intended for correcting and preventing flat head wash after wash. Pure cotton can shrink and change shape and doesn't do a good job retaining the shape of the pillow on its own, that would defeat the purpose of this pillow's head shaping function. At the same time, thanks to the pure cotton component in the blend, the filling made of cotton-polyester blend is more breathable. The fabric on the surface where the baby lies on is 100% pure organic cotton.

Answer:	Hi there, the cover cannot be removed as we try to minimise any loose parts a baby can potentially remove by themselves for safety reasons. But the whole pillow can be easily washed and dried. Yes you can find an extra pillow case for the pillow but so far in our customers experience it proves to be not necessary as popping the whole pillow into the wash can clean the whole pillow inside and out and it comes out as good as new.
