Answer:	Add me to the group! I purchased this iron a year ago. A year and TEN days ago. I know this because this morning when water started pouring out of my iron, I had to look up the date of purchase, so I could use my spiffy one year warranty. So much for that!! One year, and this pretty expensive iron is broken, ten days after the warranty expires. I am beyond frustrated, reading that this has happened to others who purchased one of these irons. My last iron was $12 at Walmart and lasted 15 years, four moves, 2 children, and a serviceman who wore BDU's, which needed to be ironed, five days a week. Get the warranty!!

Answer:	Yes they are. That's part of what you're paying the high price for. I had another Rowenta iron similar to this and it had over 100 temperature settings. This is important if you iron a variety of delicate synthetic fabrics, because the cheap irons just don't "cut" it.

Answer:	I think the cleaning tap water after each use demand is reflective of the answer whether to utilize distilled H2O. I drink only distilled water for the past 30 years as it removes all impurities including radioactive isotopes ending up at 6.9 ph. Tap water is targeted at 7.2 ph, human blood 7.4 ph. Removal of the intended steam water after each use solves the standing water colloidalization of metal; then distilled no cleaning demand. For me, I will use this method with DISTILLED WATER and see my last iron last over 30 years until it breaks from age old wear. New iron, why should I change a sure thing of past experience; nope!

Question:	Is it auto shut off
Answer:	Quoting what Jeff F just said. These razors are NOT ProGlides even though they advertised it as such. The insert inside the package is just an advertisement to TRY the ProGlide. The order i just received today are the original Fusion blades.
Question:	can this iron be used without water
Answer:	These are authentic Gilette blades. Many years ago I spoke to Gilette customer service and they told me how to verify if blades were authentic or knock offs. On the back of the plastic that holds the blade just under the piece that pivots there are code numbers, about 8 digits. Counter fitters do not have the ability to place these tiny code numbers onto the plastic, and in truth who actually knows about this. The blades sent from Amazon have these code numbers.
Question:	Can I download the instructions? I lost all that and can't remember what all the buttons mean
Answer:	I find it really hard to believe that people can shave their entire face 31 times with a single blade. But, that's not what Gillette claim. They say it lasts a month, but really they mean it lasts 8 to 10 shaves. For me, I would need to trim my beard before I shaved if I waited that long between uses. I would say that if you can grow a full beard 1 blade a week is what you can expect to get from these blades. That said, the one week works better than any other disposable blade on the market. Gillette will never sell you 1 blade for $1 as long as they still cost a nickle to make.
Question:	I'm looking for a compact iron for my sewing (pressing seams and whatnot). Does anyone use this for that purpose and does it work well? TIA

Answer:	It is used as a small iron, not sure if it will work for plastic that is normally shrink wrapped. The directions on the iron state that the temperature is for poyester and cotton. Low setting is 140 degress and the high setting is 220.

Answer:	I use it for machine applique with my embroidery machine. the machine does a placement stitch, then I put on my applique which has a fusible on it and iron it on while leaving it all in the hoop. This little iron works great for this. I also used it for applying iron-on bias tape to an applique project. It worked great for that too.

For other supports such as coffee mugs, there is no a clear answer to the question on if the HTV can be applied successfully or not. Answer:	No, I haven't found anything that would override it. I also use it for quilting and would rather it stayed on. I found out later that the Rowenta Focus does stay on. If I had known that at the time, I would have purchased it instead. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The correct answer is that the iron will shut itself off if it is on and (1) you leave it flat for 30 sec., (2) tip it over for 30 sec., or (3) leave it vertical for 8 min. Unplugging the iron is not an AUTO turn-off.
Question:	how can you tell when the steam iron is getting low on water - I can't even see how much I am putting in once it goes inside the iron
Answer:	I can see the water level rise as I add water to the iron. You can see the level through the clear plastic cover. That said, this is a powerful iron that puts out a lot of steam. Therefore, it goes through a tank of water after I iron just two or three shirts. I am happy to refill the chamber as needed, since this powerful iron will take the wrinkles out of any fabric.

Question:	How do you turn it on & off of it doesnt have a button
Answer:	It automatically turns off after it has not been used for a certain period of time unless you press the steam button and hold for 5-6 seconds. The iron then stays on until you unplug it. In my case I have it plugged into a outlet that is controlled by a light switch. When I turn the switch off the iron shuts down.
Question:	Does this iron make a beeping sound the whole time its plugged in
Answer:	No it does not - I leave mine on all day - so then the green light (or the right hand light) on the front lights up and stops blinking, I press the button right underneath (that indicates steam) and hold it down until it beeps twice. The beeping stops after that and let's me iron all day.
Question:	Can this iron be used without steam or does it automatically start steaming when you hold the handle
