Question:	Are they compatible with the old school mounts on the top sides of the window
Answer:	No they are not compatible. You would need to use the brackets provided with product. Which are top or back mount.
Question:	Do these blinds yellow in the sun over time
Answer:	No. I have them in my kitchen almost a year now which receives a lot of sun and they are as white as the day I installed them.
Question:	Are the brackets metal snap in on the astic slide in
Answer:	They are metal snap in. You mount two snaps either at the side or top of you window, then just pop the set of blinds in place.
Question:	Can I use this in a 36x36 opening
Answer:	Will fit exactly in 36 inch wide opening. For 36 inch length, the blind would not be able to extend its entire length, but the slats still adjust as described and look fine.
