Question:	how do you raise and lower the cordless shade
Answer:	To lower and raise the shade you have to do so manually with your hands. There are 2 clips that come with each shade so you can clip the shade up to your desired length or just let the shade hang on its own with no clips, which is what I usually do and they rest on the window sill or I clip the shades from the back side so I don't see the clips when I put the shades up.
Question:	I know the width can be trimmed according to need, how about the length? These are too long for my windows but could work if I can trim the bottom

Question:	I want to use these for a bathroom window. Do they provide privacy? Would you be able to see through them at night from the outside in
Answer:	not good in a room that creates moisture. And the light shines thru them, not good for privacy. Ok in living rooms and dining rooms and bedrooms. You cannot see clear thru them, but the light does silhouette the closer when close to the window.

Question:	does the adhesive work well on textured walls
Answer:	It’s a reasonably good adhesive for flat smooth surfaces, but does lose some ability to adhere with changes in humidity inside a house. We just glued it up when it began to come loose. It still works well. Where there was irregularity innthe surface of the window casing or wall, it did not adhere as well. So my answer to that question would have to be no.

Question:	Can I use these in my apartment where there are already existing permanent blinds (not blackout ones) which I cannot remove
Answer:	The blinds are about 1 1/2 inches in depth. If you have room between the permanent blinds and the window they should fit. The top sticks to the window and unfolds downward as far as you want. They provide a clip to set the height.
Question:	Is it sturdy enough to be taken on and off daily, without ruining the adhesive
Answer:	A simple solution to mounting them daily is to use push pins or thumbtacks. If you cannot push them into wood to hold the blinds at the top of each side then use a tiny hammer or the rubber handles of a pair of pliers. When you leave if you're worried about the holes created by use of pins or tacks just spackle them with wood dough. You might use the same holes to push the pins into.
Question:	what kind of tape to use
Answer:	does the included adhesive tape at the top damage the wall/ceiling when the blind is removed. I only need them for one week.
Question:	How well do these block out the light? I need something that completely blocks the light out. Anyone got a picture of how well these work
Answer:	You can use scotch tape (or any other good tape) and use black trash bags which you likely already have to black out the window for significantly cheaper than these. I used a 30 gal 1.2 mil trash bag on my window which covered the whole thing, and it blocks out about 95% of the light. The drapes then block out the rest creating total black out. If you were to buy the heavy duty "yard trash bags" that are 2 mil or thicker, I guarantee those would blackout a window alone. A 50 gal yard or construction trash bag would cover a huge window. With my drapes (which I never open) you can see the trash bag either so it doesn't look bad. The window its on faces my backyard so nobody will ever see it outside. This window unfortunately faces east so the rising sun beams in my window and I work nights and come home to go to sleep in the morning. This works like a charm!

Answer:	No, they are not room darkening, but they keep the sun out.
Question:	What size should I order for a 36" window
Answer:	If you measured the actual window frame, you should order a 36" because the actual shade the send you will be 35 and a half inches.
Question:	Are these blinds installed using box end brackets
Answer:	NO they are not. They are some completely different mechanism to hang. You have to either mount them to the ceiling of your window frame, or to the wall on either side of the window frame! I have yet to figure out how the heck this thing works. The blinds do NOT fit standard box end brackets like most miniblinds.

The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Answer:	If purchasing the 29" wide shade, the product will be 28 1/2" wide. If purchasing the 31" wide shade, the product will be 30 1/2". If installing inside the window casing (Inside Mount) the 29" wide will be the closest size for your window opening. If installing on the wall or window casing (Outside Mount), the 31" may work, but for optimal privacy and light control we recommend the 34" width.
