Question:	how deep a pocket must the curtains have to be threaded onto the rods over the end caps
Answer:	The end cap is a hair over 3/4 inch in diameter. Seems as if it would fit in a 1 1/4 inch pocket. Maybe add a little safety margin.

Question:	I want to use this to hang clothes as I take them out of the dryer. Do you think this tension rod would be ok with holding clothes temporary
Answer:	Another idea is to cut out rounds to fit without seeing pads out of the soft sponge like rubber non adhesive shelf liner material the mesh or the solid both work well. If you do not want anything to show ever choose a color as close to the pole itself or wall as possible. (I use the spring rods outside on a 24 foot long covered patio that the sun bakes to death in summer. I hang white canvas outdoor fabric panels on the poles that can be removed easily or pulled to the sides and also I'm making some panels to be roman shades to pull up too. I need the pull up ones for the long 24 foot expansion. The expansion wall has 4 dividers approx every 6 feet apart but our automatic over night sprinkler system soaks the curtains even pulled off to the side etc. So a shade that can be pulled up would be perfect to be pulled up and miss the water over night. I've yet to work out the entire design. But for the ends I am now adding grommets to the panels I made earlier to run on the ballbearing style shower curtan rods so that you can pull them to one side or the other and this is about a 10 foot width so I have choice of going with one sewn size pieced panel the full length or to make more of a drape style with 1.5 to 2 times the width to hang loser with rounded pleats like the newer rod hanging curtain panels you can purchase today. I definitely do not want to pleat the panels as in older fashioned drapes. I bought enough fabric to drape the whole length of the patio roof but hubby had a fit when I was designing a frame to hang the fabric from to avoid laying on the shingles. He insisted the frame wouldn't support the fabric. So as much as I would like to add a shade cover to the roof itself sometimes one needs to compromise and I turned to these rods and hanging panels that can be easily handled during the season and removed to store in off season and also wash and wear well. (So it's kind of an on going experience and experimentations too. The 24 foot length divided into six foot widths is also tapered down to less than 6 foot high. A beam makes it even lower. I also cut double bubble white/aluminum dual sided insulation material to velcro to inside rafters cut to fit in half 48 inch lenth panels so approx. 16 x 48 & requires 2 to cover inside 10 foot ceiling. It's amazing how much it cools to touch the ceiling but not the ambient air. Thats where the canvas panels come in. Temps drop into 40-low 50's most nights and if you drop the panels early you capture and retain the cooler air. Usually 2-5 is the hottest time of the day. But you can open all panels to view out if that suits the situation and day better. Love these as they usually do not require end caps though you can buy those. But I do need sometimes to use the additional pads I cut out from the rubber spongy like shelf liners. I love that stuff and prevents a very large lead glass bowl from moving that a cat seemed to find fun to rock to the edge of a table as well as our custom made pottery cookie jar and several other small and larger ceramics and glass wares about home from sliding or slipping about. And best thing is you can't see it usually if it's cut slightly smaller than the item sitting on it. So yes if you are looking to hang clothes via hangers temporarily from the dryer and it's not too long an expansion where the rod does get a bit weaker the further out so buy up if it still fits your length so it is stronger and I see no reason it wouldn't work for you.

Answer:	I have the chrome version and I just measured it. there are two dimensions of the rod, a 3/4" section slides into a longer 7/8" diameter section. Ends flare to 1-3/8". Both the 1-1/2" and 3-1/2" answers appear to be incorrect. I should not this is for the short, 36"version

Question:	Can this rod be used for salt water for trophy striped bass"rock fish" in the Chesapeake Bay
Answer:	It handled a 55 lb Blue fin Tuna (on the heavy rod) out of San Diego and numerous yellow fin up to 40 lbs as well as pacific yellow tail up to 30 lbs. I would think it would deal with east coast "rock fish" just fine.
Question:	Is it good for bass fishing
Answer:	The handle is too short to be comfortable for continuous casting (which is what I do when fishing for bass). It's great for a one time bait casting (for catfish etc) and is really tough.
Question:	Can this rod handle Pacific saltwater surface fish such as smaller yellowtail, Pacific barracuda and sand or calico bass
Answer:	i just caught a 5ft bull shark on the 6ft medium rod with a penn battle 4000 on it and i usually use the rod for my micro rig but blew my mind this thing was bent in a u and I was waiting for it to snap but held strong the whole fight. reel seat felt stressed but it held.
Question:	How many lbs can ugly stik gx2 casting rod catch
Answer:	The rod is not the thing to gauge the size of the fish you can catch unless you are fishing for marlin or some other giant game fish. It's the strength/weight of the line. And even then skillful anglers can catch fish much bigger than the number arbitrarily on the box of line they buy. So if you are fishing in a pond or river for blue gills or brookies or bass then choose a line suited for the size of fish that exist in that water. The world record bass is just over 17 pounds. So maybe the fish you can catch from your favorite pond will be less than that and a line suited to 10 pound bass or 2 pound brookies might work better. I always fish with light line so I can feel when the fish bites. Anyway that's my opinion. Hope it helps.

Answer:	You don't need drywall anchors...and no, it did not come with drywall anchors

Answer:	What type of wall? Wood, drywall or masonry?Follow instructions. Get a drill, a drill bit to mount it to wall. Place it 1/2 inch higher than instructions say if you don't want the long curtain (84') to drag on floor
Question:	The center bracket was not included in package. Can not find one that is correct distance from wall. Can I get one from you

Answer:	I really can't answer that because the ones I got are not as wide, just single window. I think it might work if your curtains aren't heavy. Hope that helps some.
