I have seen delivery of 4 to 8 weeks listed on some products which do not state “ out of stock”. Read the reviews , both positive and especially the negatives, before you purchase anything because if there are instances where shipping is not prompt believe me people will say so! Usually I will get an email confirming my order which often contains the suppliers contact information. I wouldn't extend the arm out past the edge of the table (suspended in air), I think it would be too heavy and conceivably break. It is a great value considering the price.
