Answer:	Yes, but you can see through it so the side that doesnt have dark print is still a visible color pattern an design

Answer:	It is fairly thin cotton fabric like a (cheap dollar store) sheet (not a nice 800 or 2000 thread count sheet, but something along the 300-600 thread count sheet range?) They would make lovely curtains, but there are no holes for hanging them. I would suggest getting something to line them with or hang between them and the window to prevent the light from coming through and blocking out the design. While it is not sheer enough to be seen through, the light of day or nighttime vehicles will shine through the fabric.
