Answer:	I put on wall and marked with nail then measured to make sure level. Used stud finder to find studs. And level to make straight. Looks good.

Answer:	So I do not have any guns like those but, judging by what I can visualize I would think so, I used it for a very old Double Barrell Shot Gun. A couple of things I will mention though, first and the main thing, it looks kool but it is a cheaply made product, it is basically like particle board with a laminate over it but, that is why it is not expensive like a real wood one would be. The other thing is, I received 2 of the same sides of the side brackets that hold the gun, the good thing was, I was able to remove the insert nuts on one of them and re-drill them back into the correct side it needed to be in and made it work.

Answer:	I would say no. The butt of the rifle or shotgun would not allow it to sit properly. It is best hung on the wall for display.
