I was planning to cover the brown cushion with some colorful fabric, but when it arrived, the color was very close to the bamboo yellow of the whole piece, so I just kept it the way it came.

Answer:	I have the 2 shelf version. Shelves are 9 7/8" deep x 31 1/2" wide x 1 3/16" 'thick'. (Thicker than I expected, but fine) Shelves come out 10" from the wall (1/8 gap between wall and shelf) Pipes connectors (Ts and Ls) come out 12 1/8" from the tall.

Answer:	The shelves look surprisingly real. The only thing that looks off are the metal elbows, you can see the weld spots however if you aren't looking for them it looks pretty good. Everyone that has seen ours asked if I built it.

Answer:	That would be a question for the manufacturer. From what I've read, the UPF factor typically decreases when wet. A UPF rating means you're protected from 50% of rays but probably decrease that by about half when wet. But, I'm not an expert!
